That par putt might turn it around for Rickie.

... I say that and suddenly the leaders put themselves into interesting situations...

Rickie!  That is why you don't lay up on reachable par-5s.  You know this.

In Harmans case, not sure how many opportunities he's gonna get to win a major so this is a huge moment for him. Brooks probably is a multiple major guy so this is a chance for him to get #1 and really elevate his name.

matsuyama looks like he might post -12.....that will make it interesting as the pressure mounts behind him

Koepkas length gives him huge advantage down stretch. I think -12 not gonna be enough. Brooks in good shape right now.

Matsuyama has posted a number.  And now he can relax, since there's no more golf for him today.

Dang, and if there's a playoff, I can't take tomorrow off of work.

Aight. I'm now gonna remind everyone who my pick was before the tournament started, and I posted it in this thread at the beginning of yesterday's play -

Hideki Matsuyama.

Matsuyama posting -12 could really change some things. Or it may not.

Let's see how this plays out, Cotton.

However Tommy Fleetwood finishes this tournament, he has good momentum going into the next major, which just happens to be taking place in his hometown.

He won't win. I think Koepka has it. He could collapse but I don't see that.

Oh, it the tournament over? Has the trophy been awarded?

It was still a good pick regardless. :-D

(edited)

Had Koepka in my majors survivor pool. Problem is so did 18 other guys and none of my other guys made the cut. Oh well. Shouldn't have used up Rickie, Hideki and Justin at Masters and Players.

Rickie's bogey and Koepka not backing down... it's still the U.S. Open and anything can happen, but... things aren't looking good if you aren't Koepka.

All over unless Koepka collapses

Rickey is out.

He has to hole that bunker shot, birdie 17 & eagle 18. Or 3 under on the last 3 ties Hideki. Back totally against the wall now.
