And yes, I am an old man and my post does say a lot about me. Thank you for noticing. It just seems that I'm living in a world I no longer understand! Why are so many determined to rip America to shreds these days? Stuff like that does indeed pluck a nerve with me!

Never said anything about ripping America to shreds and what I noticed was not impressive.

I notice that you are from New Hampshire, so I suspect you may be a member of the PC vanguard! My suggestion to you would be to get over it and grow the hell up!

What I noticed is that you lumped me in with a "state" (a state I am living in, one of 5 I have lived in) and a behavior that I wasn't even doing. Maybe you should take time to read more closely and be less judgemental.

At this stage the only disrespect I see is between members of TST.  :hmm:

I've read only page 1 of this thread and I've determined it's been the dumbest thing I've read in quite a long time.

I think that's called Patriotism.

Are you even trying to be serious? You don't have to say you're ripping America to shreds to do so! The news media does it all the time! And they pretend to be "unbiased". What a joke!

And I re-read your OP quite closely and stated my conclusions about it in my last post. And we are ALL full of judgements, as you were in your OP. It's just a fact of life! To say one is unbiased is, in fact, a bias!

Thank you, Sir! You might not be able to imagine how I feel when I see an American Olympic team march into the stadium!

I would agree with you in this instance.

People have used concepts like patriotism as click bait (hit the like button) before.

I have no issue with LPGA or PGA Tour members tweeting this type of stuff.

This stuff doesn't bother me. I don't follow those people anyways. If they want the self gratification of seeing that little like button counter go up then fine.
