Day 2 (3/18/21): Played 18 today and carded an 88 with one birdie on #6 (par 5). Didn't putt well today.

Day 458:

Raining today, with no letup in the forecast until tomorrow morning, so nothing outdoors today. No full swing or superspeed. Did some feel drills indoors with a wedge to work on palmar flexion and recentering/flow. Also did some indoor putting on a yardstick.

Day 445 - March 18, 2021

Day 5. 

Rain again, staying inside. 

About 20min of short game / impact drills.  Hitting and working on the feeling of timing the hands, arms, and body rotations.

Day 25.  Speed sticks, protocol one, in my backyard.  Last big swing with the green was 110 mph.

Day 68 - spent 30 mins on Blast putting for rhythm and bead. I am playing tomorrow afternoon. @iacas, is it illegal for me to use my Blast device on the course in competition since it may fall into the category of heart rate monitors providing feedback?

Day 72 (19 Mar 2021) - more inside work as the rain fell.  Chipping work with the 7i and whiffle balls.  Not a lot of excitement in this, just working on undoing some bad mechanics of fileting the face open on takeaway. As I was hitting down the hall, which is 48" wide, my goal was to flight it part of the way (its about 35' long) and getting the ball to bounce and roll out nicely.

Day 156: Cold and windy today. I worked on alignment at setup inside while watching the Honda Classic.

Day 3 (3/19/21): Played 18 again today. Shot 80 with 8 GIR, 11/14 fairways hit and 33 putts.

Putting work today.  a half-circle version of Phil's 3' and 6' circle drills.

Day 459:

Planned to do superspeed today, but 2nd vaccine dose side effects set in hard around midday and zonked me out. I was able to overcome fatigue and headache to do some COVID-19 day-3, 4, 5 drills, and also some flow/recentering mirror rehearsal.

Day 446 - March 19, 2021

An hour of the same thing as yesterday: transition work to miss the noodle, and yet somehow the ball comes out straight! 🙂

Day 26.  Despite it being a busy day, I found a few five minute intervals to hit 7-iron shots (indoors, off a mat, into a net, real balls) for some continued practice.

Day 157: Worked on partial and full irons swings. Contact has felt a bit thin this week. I did the dry erase test and found I was hitting toward the toe. So I made some adjustments. Also film the swings and worked on opening the face more at set up.

Day 4 (3/20/21): Played 18 today. Shot 87 with 8 GIR, 10/14 fairways hit and 35 putts.

Day 27.  Today was a great day for practice.  I finally, a few days ago, got video and sent it into Evolvr for the first time in a while.  Last night I got the lesson and today I watched it.  I spent about 30 minutes (and about as many balls) working on my new priority piece (indoors, off a mat, into a net, real balls -- maybe I should indicate when this isn't the case for range practice for me).  This involves setting up slightly differently and also working on two aspects (I straighten my back leg too quickly and too much, which causes another issue) on my swing.

I have mixed feelings for how practice came out.  The setup felt weird as did some of the backswing.  That's good:  I've long since learned that if my new priority piece practice doesn't initially feel weird, I'm more likely making a mistake or  not doing it correctly.  However, I was hitting balls just as flush as before, if not more -- that seems like an odd outcome.  

I also did speed sticks, protocol one.  The final green one was 112 as seems my usual, but I did get red over 100 today (to 101), which is fun.  

Playing tomorrow, so look forward to a report about day 28 tomorrow involving hitting the ball well on the course [here's hoping]
