Day 10 (30 Jun 23) - Played 18 with son and grandson today at River Bend.  A good day where the pre-shot process kept the focus on the moment not the just completed bogie or double or the approach that has me looking at birdie.

Day 1. Slow swings and just hitting the ball into a net. Still working on the same swing ideas. Starting to see some flashes on the course.

Day 28 - Approach/Stance work, still feels off but the swing is feeling a bit better. Range tomorrow so will hopefully get to see it all put together and improvement.

Playing for the time in a few weeks and needed to practice my short game. Hit River Falls early this morning and chipped and putted for about 75 minutes. Putted well on aerated greens that have not filled in yet over the past three weeks.

Day 19: Jul 1

Continued with plenty of backswing/transition drills. Also spent time thinking about my pre-shot routine; I’ve had the idea of incorporating the first stage of my backswing as part of that routine to encourage setting the wrists early.

Part of what I’ve been doing is inadvertently what Annika and Padrig do for their preshot routines. So this is about creating a consistent approach (which I recognise is an organic process and not a mechanical one); my terrible golf shots typically have a poor preshot routine.

If that wasn’t enough…Add a couple of 30 min indoor putting sessions (on a mat) for good measure.

Day 1:

After father-in-law passing away and then some vacations, ready to get into this again. Today was easy, played 18. Played better than I thought I would considering I haven't done much with a golf club in 3 weeks.

Day 244, July 2, 2023

Light day today, lessons in the morning (the last ones at Golf Evolution 2.0) and then tear-down. Hit a few balls for ten minutes before I took it down, though.

Day 22: 7/2/23

Session 24 of Stack Neural training (my 3rd training group, overall). Hit 111 e-speed with max effort swings. Hoped to do better but fell shy. Progress check on the 4th to determine next type of training session.

Finished the night with putting practice through 50 mm gates. Hit 60 putts and only hit the gates twice. By far, that is the most putts with the least gate strikes I have ever had. Concentration usually tends to waver for me over that many putts.
