Day 379, November 14, 2023

Worked on the early backswing for 15 minutes between later lessons today. Backswing through at least November and most (if not all) of December.

Day 178 - Worked on a grip adjustment while indoor putting last night and finally hit 10/10 on the yardstick drill. Kept going and ended with 13 straight.

Played about 16 holes at Whispering Woods (skipped a few for maintenance/mowing).

Hit some pretty good shots that show some really nice progress. No balls really went left.

Day 80:

Did some short game practice, and some full swing priority piece work, then we had some rare dry lightning in the area and I decided holding a metal stick was not a good idea so quit and didn’t go back out for planned Stack workout.

Day 180 - Played 9 holes. Played really well.

Driver was phenomenal.

Irons were very good.

Chipping and putting were above average for how little I've practiced them outdoors lately.

Priority piece work for about 10 minutes before it started raining. Then fit for golf.

Dude, I am so envious of your stack sessions. I am looking forward to Black Friday because if I find a good deal on some I-product I'll pull the trigger just so I can then get "The Stack". 

My bag is an ever-changing combination of clubs.

You can just get an older model iPhone or iPad or something. Heck, in about four days, I'll have an iPhone 12 you could have pretty inexpensively (Natalie's). Speaking of Natalie, it's her 21st today.

Fifteen minutes of wrist up and out. One thing I learned on Thursday is that it can't go "floppy" at the top. "Stiff" isn't quite the right word, but I just have to maintain control of it to the top.

Yeah I definitely recommend it. I got an older model iPad when I got the Mevo+ and The Stack and Flightscope software is about all I use the iPad for. Still worth it IMO.

      To flog this subject even further, if that's even possible, this article from Golf Monthly just appeared today in one of my news feeds. Written by a golf writer in the UK who I never heard of, he's basically saying that there should be only 3-5 rounds from the most recent 20 that should count towards the average and only competitive rounds should count. He claims the erratic scorers would have less of an advantage than they do now. He makes a lot of references to "club golfers" in the UK being the ones who are mostly dissatisfied. https://share.google/qmZZBEoJvOxHxJGil  In my experience with my league where we have golfers with indexes ranging from 5 to 40, looking at the weekly results from the past two years, I can detect no pattern that would substantiate the claim that the current system gives an unfair advantage to either erratic golfers (aren't we all?) or higher handicappers. Apparently though, at least in the UK, this seems to be "a thing."
