Day 428, January 1, 2024

Went to Golf Evolution for about 100 minutes. Did a little short game stuff, but mostly did the full swing. Starting to add a little speed to the transition/downswing.

Day 177: Got out my net and worked in my garage on my swing for half and hour or so. Filmed and took things very slowly. Very happy with this practice session, even though the swing stuff is still a work in progress.

Day 1: 1/2/2024

Okay, here we go. I'm starting again. 
Got to the range this morning fairly early. Started by working on my priority pieces and finished by "playing" my tournament course in imaginary fashion. 

My bag is an ever-changing combination of clubs. 

A mix I am forever tinkering with.

Only got seven minutes in today, but it was a good seven minutes. Slowly going to start adding speed over the next few days. Did some "looper" drills today, though I don't want to start looping it too early.

Day 24 (02 Jan 24) - Hit some hard foam balls, focused on getting weight on lead foot and coming through making ball first contact….it was real chill, should’ve warmed up with some stretching first, no injuries but noticed lack of fluidity.

Day 6- 1/2/24

Stack training in the Full Speed Spectrum.  Good session just shy of my high speed overall and high for this session. Finished the night with putting through 50 mm gates.

Day 3 - Getting back into improving the swing, proper practice session in the garage today trying to figure out my feels for priority piece. A lot of filming and minimal hitting. 

Did some indoor putting tonight too.

Day 2: 1/3/2023

Today I spent a lot of time with a 7 iron in front of the mirror... and to the side of the mirror as well. 

I plan to do more slow-motion mirror stuff this year. Even on days I get to the range I plan to incorporate more slow-motion mirror work. 

My bag is an ever-changing combination of clubs. 

A mix I am forever tinkering with.

Went down to Golf Evolution at 7:30 to work with @NatalieB and @DrizZzY. Hit some good shots myself, mostly with 9I. It can go sideways in a hurry, or feel so good in a hurry too.

      To flog this subject even further, if that's even possible, this article from Golf Monthly just appeared today in one of my news feeds. Written by a golf writer in the UK who I never heard of, he's basically saying that there should be only 3-5 rounds from the most recent 20 that should count towards the average and only competitive rounds should count. He claims the erratic scorers would have less of an advantage than they do now. He makes a lot of references to "club golfers" in the UK being the ones who are mostly dissatisfied. https://share.google/qmZZBEoJvOxHxJGil  In my experience with my league where we have golfers with indexes ranging from 5 to 40, looking at the weekly results from the past two years, I can detect no pattern that would substantiate the claim that the current system gives an unfair advantage to either erratic golfers (aren't we all?) or higher handicappers. Apparently though, at least in the UK, this seems to be "a thing."
