Day 25 (03 Jan 24) - played RiverBend today with son and grandson.  Was a day of near misses of GIR (had six holes where I was 2 yds or less off the green, in the fringe.  Still a fun round in early Jan.  

Ping G400 SFT 10deg  R flex

Taylormade SLDR 5i thru PW graphite shaft R flex

Day 178: lighter day - just some mirror work. Worked on downswing feels - keeping the club further away from my body and little more front knee flex.

Day 26 (4 Jan 24) - got w/good friend played the back nine at Minnesott.  We had some decent rain last night - made for interesting putting on the greens.  Soft but super slippery - spinny wedges held, less spinny bump and runs rolled forever.  Had to rethink greens and putting .

Day 431, January 4, 2024

Hit 30 balls after lessons at Golf Evolution today. I was able to get some decent speed on some of them. I'll be okay next week, and can get back to practicing by taking a big intentional step back for Jan-Mar.

Stack Training in Full Speed Spectrum. Cold night and could not surpass this session’s high speed. Supposed to snow Saturday and it could prove difficult to attain a new high!

Day 3: 1/4/2024

Today I worked on my take-a-way and back swing in the mirror. 
Then I did the slow motion swing on the downswing. 
I'm trying to add a lot more mirror work into my days. 

My bag is an ever-changing combination of clubs. 

A mix I am forever tinkering with.

Went downtown for 2.5 hours with @DrizZzY. Fully 1/3 of it was shooting the shit, but the other 1/2 to 2/3 was good practice.

Day 27 (5 Jan 23) - Started w/7i - worked with takeaway bringing club back not around, and then thru the ball.  Then moved inside to roll some putts doing the yardstick drill.  Focused on keeping ball on start line….

Well, I got Laser eye surgery this morning. So, I wasn't able to do a ton.

I did work on my take-a-way and back swing in the mirror. 
Then I did the slow motion swing on the downswing. 

My bag is an ever-changing combination of clubs. 

A mix I am forever tinkering with.

      To flog this subject even further, if that's even possible, this article from Golf Monthly just appeared today in one of my news feeds. Written by a golf writer in the UK who I never heard of, he's basically saying that there should be only 3-5 rounds from the most recent 20 that should count towards the average and only competitive rounds should count. He claims the erratic scorers would have less of an advantage than they do now. He makes a lot of references to "club golfers" in the UK being the ones who are mostly dissatisfied. https://share.google/qmZZBEoJvOxHxJGil  In my experience with my league where we have golfers with indexes ranging from 5 to 40, looking at the weekly results from the past two years, I can detect no pattern that would substantiate the claim that the current system gives an unfair advantage to either erratic golfers (aren't we all?) or higher handicappers. Apparently though, at least in the UK, this seems to be "a thing."
