I have a 2003 Scotty Cameron Newport Beach putter, Davis Love III version with a sound slot that I really like. I bought it on eBay a few years ago for $90. I sent it to Cameron a few years ago to be reshafted and adjusted to my fitting specs. It was kind of light, so a couple months ago I changed the overall weight by 80 grams and swingweight to match another putter I have. It feels really good in my hands now. I've always been able to aim it well.

1986 Taylor Made TPA X putter. The only putter I've ever owned.

I've also got an original Callaway Big Bertha 3 wood. I just recently took that out of my bag when my son gave me a Ping i20 3 wood he can't hit.

And I still play with my original Callaway X20 irons.

2010 Nike vr TW irons. V10 conforming set. Oldest clubs I play  love the irons and not ashamed of the Tiger fanboyism one bit

Oldest “playable” club that I have but not in my bag is the original Adams tight lies fairway from 96. I currently game the recreation of it- Adams Tight lies titanium 13.5*. It’ll likely never leave the bag.

Same here basically ... a titleist 910h 19 degree hybrid that I got around 2011, maybe early 2012.

2012's Callaway Razr-X Black driver. For some reason I hit this longer and straighter than the driver I was fitted for.  Also sometimes just for kicks an old 1987 blade putter I bought new for $25.00. It has since been replaced with a Ping Anser2 blade but every now and again.

    • It may not have been block practice, though, is one of the main points here. You may have been serving and from the same place, but you were likely trying to do slightly different things. It seems that would only be blocked practice if you were trying to hit the same exact ball hit to you to the same exact place in the far court. I'm not sure that's as random as if the ball that you're given to hit is at different places, too, but again…
    • I played tennis in college. I thought block practice was great for serves because you were starting the point and  you could easily adjust where you wanted to place the ball based off the same motion. I equate those to tee balls. I despised block practice for groundstrokes once you reached a certain level and your fundamentals were good. To me, hitting a 100 crosscourt backhands in a row was silly because I would never do that in a match. I needed to randomize it by hitting some deep, some angled, all with different speeds and spins. I share that same thought about iron play. Because we seldom hit the same approach shots hole after hole, I prefer to practice irons randomly.
