I think part of it was trying to set the stage early that Thanos was a badass and no one is safe.

I think the way he took care of a superhero before that proved that. Imho, Loki's too clever to try that thing he did.

There was a chance this could break 700m domestic but I doubt that now.

Yeah, I watched it, pretty holding. But as it tends now in a most mass media, graphics ----> plot

I thought the plot was pretty good, especially Thanos's arc.

I quite enjoyed IW, but was disappointed that they made Vision some low level jabroni.

and don't forget how Bruce Banner was a pretty good character and is now painful and whiny and just hard to watch on screen now.

I didn’t really need that explained to me… considering the film did that. BUT, did anyone else feel like the Hulk that confronted Thanos wasn’t the FULL Hulk? He didn’t seem as rage-y, or even as massive as normal. That was my rationale for why Thanos whooped him anyway

    • Day 157 - 2025-03-06 Got the QuadMAX back today. Was going to spend a good 60 minutes practicing, but spent it on the phone as they fixed the front panel, but… the ethernet port wasn't fixed. So that's great. 😛 Got some time in working on some chipping with a student earlier in the day.
    • Day 230: did a stack session.
    • I like this one. Wyndham has two golf swings. With his driver he is pretty much elite from a force plate and 3D measurement perspective. With his irons, he doesn't use his legs correctly. Weight transfer from right heel to left toe instead of weight going to the back heel of the left leg. Soft left leg through impact. Way more upper body focused, and so much that his kinematic sequence was off with the irons. The torso was starting before the lower body.  I think some good drills in the video. Hitting the ball with the right foot back to force him to post on the left leg sooner. Then you can start creeping the right foot back to the address position.  I like the gym drills for practicing correct kinematic sequence. Just really focusing on the legs driving the arm movement. It is just good offseason work as well, and in season. You don't always need a club to work on something related to the golf swing.  I still nitpick on them saying that you push off with the right foot. 😁
    • Mar 6 2025.  Caught up on posting - feel like I’m off to a solid start - 6 of 18 holes have birdies and parred all at my local course.
    • Day 27: 3/6/25 Putting through 50 mm gates and pressure shift drills. Finished with a brief speed workout.
