A shorter course doesn't give that much of an advantage to short hitters.

It's shorter for the longer hitters, too.  Who can get around all day long hitting

stinger 2-irons where Webb's 3-wd goes.

Length or lack thereof has nothing to do with this victory. Webb played tremendous golf for 3 days then hung in there better than anyone else on Sun.  Tiger played so-so (for him), almost played well on Sun, then didn't.

This course it´s perfect, you need to be accurate and play with strategy to score. It brings all the players to the same level.

Maybe not advantage to the short hitters, but definitely less of a disvantage for them. A longer course becomes a lot more difficult when you're hitting long irons into every green. The shorter a course gets, the more players can fight for the win. All the way until you hit nothing but putts, where most today's PGA pros wouldn't even be there due to the amount people it invites. By lengthening the courses, you make the group of likely winners even smaller.

I bet Lucas Glover won't shoot another 78 anytime soon....

If I were him I'd be making sure I shot 87 for each of my next 4 rounds so I can lose that hideous woman for once and for all.

In the race of life, always back self-interest. At least you know it's trying.

    • Day 135 (27 Apr 24) - played Bradford Creek today while waiting for the missus fly in from her extended visit with the grands.  Good day to stay focused as it was a hurry up (groups pressing from behind) and wait (groups taking their time ahead)…a good day to stay mentally in the game - play the shot and not get frustrated in the waiting…
    • Day 122: 4/27/24 Supposed to be a Stack training day but I was beat after yard work today. Practiced chipping and putting at The Creek. The practice green is pretty slow but the session went well.
    • Went to the range today and was cursing myself when I got there as I realized I forgot my phone. I added an earlier wrist hinge to the short backswing I was using last time practicing and ball strikes were really good for the most part. I'm heading back to Boston Thursday to see friends and family and have a couple of rounds planned so I'm hoping to keep this feeling.  Yesterday morning I weighed in at 232. My goal had been 230 but maybe now it's 220. I'll have to think about that. I feel so much better without the extra 90 lbs. from 2 years ago. Still a softl slightly less protruding belly so it might be time to go hard on eating better. Work in progress.
    • Day 7- Went to the range and hit a bucket. Also did some chipping and putting.
    • Day 543, April 27, 2024 Practiced for about an hour today. Almost all slow, with plenty of rehearsals.
