Longest unit of time in golf?

For me it's the time between teeing off and hitting my approach shot, after waiting for a slow group ahead of me to clear my landing area off the tee and then hooking it OB anyway.

See the "Winter Depression Thread". For those of us up north, waiting for the courses to open in the spring is the longest unit of time in golf.

Maybe for your bad shots. For some of us, that only involves reaching in our pocket for another ball before the distant sound of the previous ball striking a tree reaches us.:-D
