I havent had one but one of my good friends had one last week. During a school tryout he bogeyed two in a row, then dunked it straight in from 170 with a 7 iron and then eagled the next hole (par 5) on his way to a 69

I still haven't gotten one, but hopefully that will change one day. Just once, that's all I ask. I did, however, witness my buddy get one up north at Boyne Mountain last summer.

October 13 5 years ago.Swan Lake Golf course in Manorville Long Island 5th hole 200 yards with a 4 iron.It was the first frost delay of the year about one hour so they shotgunned everybody there. My buddie and I had this hole as our last on the front nine. Our match was tied and it was my honors and jokingly I said I am going to hit this 4 iron over the little mound in front and roll it up close and close you out on the front.Wel I nailed it right over the bunker but could not see it land due to the mound. He follows with a 4 iron that looks like it is right on top of me.We walk up and as we pass the mound we see one ball about 3 foot from the hole and we both say at the same time we hope its me but then we realize there is only one ball.We put down our bags and walk REAL FAST to the green and sure enough there in the cup is my Pro v with FLAP in big blue letters looking up at me.The ironic thing is he made the birdie and still lost the front side

three weeks ago at cedar crest g.c., home of the 1927 pga championship, i start the back nine on an easy par 5 for bogey. 11th, par 3 210 to the center. i pull out my trusty 5 iron and smack a beautiful shot dead into the middle of the green. my partner and i looked at each other, thinking it had gone in but not quite sure. anxious, i drive up to the green and my ball is nowhere in sight. i thought perhaps it had rolled off the back of the green so i checked, no ball. i looked into the cup, and there it was, beautiful.

First hole in one at Golden Gate Park, San Francisco, CA 9th hole on a par 3 nine hole course.

I started off with a triple boogie on the first hole and made a birdie a few par but I was still two over on the 9th hole when I made the hole in one to shoot par for 9 holes.

Interest note is that I started off playing by myself and two ladies joined me just before the hole in one to witness and sign my card. The second note is of course do not give up even if you start with a triple boogie.

2nd hole in one was at Harding Park, San Francisco, CA 8th hole about 188 yards with a 6 iron down hill, about two years after my first hole in one.

I have never had one, But once hit a par three, and was maybe 2 inches from the cup, but the condition were very soggy and it stuck, no roll what so ever, or it may of run off the green? I had a friend that had one this year, was playing with the club pro and he had the cup removed and gave it to him along with signing his ball. He was very pumped?

I never had one yet in the 10 yrs i've been playing. My closest was actually the one with the most pressure at a scramble par 3 and if u get a hole in one u win a car and i hit it 6 inches away...i thought i had it....

Almost had one 7 years ago. The ball came to rest on the lip.
Finally got one 3 years ago. Uphill par 3, so I did not get to see it go in.

I knew it was good because the ball was heading right at the pin. Got up to the green and didn't see the ball. My playing buddies told me to check the rough on the back of the green. Still didn't see it. Then one of the buddies checked the hole, and sure enough there it was.

I have one and it was by the grace of god. A par 3 with the green basically built in the side of a hill, my tee shot hit the side of the hill and the ball bounced right, ran across the green and into the hole.

I had 2. August of 1989 and May of 1990. Lots of close calls since then, but that's it.

Never in my 25 years of golfing. I don't think I've ever even come close.

Never hit the pin or even burned the edge of the cup, never played with anyone that has had one either.

One for me a few years back. Crappy weather - pouring with rain and breezy. 8-iron, 156 yards, breeze l-to-r, perfect strike, one bounce and toppled in the front. Beers on me . Made the day a whole lot better.

Been close a number of other times but no matter how good you hit it, you still need some luck. Been playing for ~30 years so a single ace doesn't seem like a great return!

This was last year at my old course. It was actually a bad day of ball striking and I wasn't very happy. It was almost dark and this was on 17. The GPS said it was 182 yards to the stick and I pulled my 5i. I hit it and it felt good...I knew it was going toward the stick but I didn't say anything because I didn't want to jinx myself as the rest of the day had been awful. It was so dark though that we couldn't see where it ended up. We got to the green and I was almost sure it was in the hole because it wasn't on the green and I knew with the shot I hit that it had to at least be on the green. So I walked straight to the hole and it was sitting in the hole!

The thing that sucks about it was that neither one of us got to see it go in because of the darkness.

I`ve played over 40 years and made my first in 2002 in a tournament,a 195 yard par 3. We finished second, but it was the only scat out,and of course I was closest to the pin on that hole.I made my second this year in June, and another 2 weeks ago. If I could have 18 inches anyway I wanted them,I`d have made 8-10 more this summer. The first was the best, though.
