Good golly gosh I hate visors.

I like 'em. Though I have disturbingly independent-minded hair, so things can get a bit... ah... Poulter-ish when I wear them.

I truly dislike them. Got one myself which I bought when I first started golfing. Not my most used headwear I must say. I wear a hat/cap when golfing, always. Partly because it's become a habit, partly to shield away the sun, partly to prevent water from running into my face when it rains (waterproof cap).

I have a few visors. I prefer a cap any day, but wearing a cap (or a toque in winter) for extended periods gives me a headache - especially when I need a haircut. Seriously.

Regarding what my golf buddies choose to wear on their heads, unless my buddies are wearing something contrary to the golf course's dress code, I couldn't care less. If they want to look like Norman, Baird, Poulter, Faxon, Rory, Tiger, or even Anna Rawson that's their business. Just hit the ball Charlie!

Wear both visor and cap, but any time the weather is hot, I will allways opt for the visor. I have Poulter type hair wether I want it or not and when it's hot under the old ball cap in the heat of summer, the old hair do looks more like an oily rag, so I stay with the visor to keep the sweat head to a minimum.

I'm bald (balding actually, shaved), so it is only fitted baseball style hats for me, or nothing at all. I can't imagine the tanline I would get if I wore a visor.

I will judge my rounds much more by the quality of my best shots than the acceptability of my worse ones.

While I prefer the visor to the cap, now that I'm thinking about it... The hat I wear most often to the course is a paper fedora. (I'm a bit weird. I also have a couple driving caps I sneak into the rotation.)

Ditto. It's not that weird... If I get a headache from wearing a hat that normally fits great that's when I know I need to (have my wife) cut my hair.

I don't care about other people (though I think a visor rarely looks good on someone), but I won't ever wear a visor unless it's on a school field trip with my step-daughter and they made visors for the occasion or something like that.

Butch, you still smarting from the last time I caught you in a visor? Damn thing was a purple woman's visor and he said he wanted to keep hitting balls in the rain without water getting in his eyes. Suuuuure, I told him.

I personally only wear visors. I hate baseball caps bit want something to shield my eyes from the sun. I dislike wearing sunglasses while golfing so the visor is my only option.

I happen to think I like damn good with a visor on. My gf agrees haha.

The USGA should make a rule stating Fred Couples is the only male allowed to don a visor.

Visors are like moustaches. Only a few men can sport them without looking gay.

I own one visor; it has a former employer's logo on it. I look alright in it when my hair has recently been cut (say, within two weeks). I doubt I'll be buying one anytime soon, nor do I intend to wear this visor that often.

Some players look good in a visor; Brian Gay comes to mind. I don't have a dislike of them, I just don't like to wear one.

On the other hand, I also experience the "I need a haircut" headache, so I need to figure something out. What's a Tilley a few folks have commented on?

I don't think I've ever worn a visor on the course, usually stick with my San Francisco Giants hat - I go through those things like no other- although I will say I do like the visor look. My opinion on the visor is you have to have a certain amount of game to pull off the look, e.g. Bubba Watson, he pulls it off damn well. Unless your game is so bad that you focus more on how you're looking, thats cool too, got to at least do one thing good.

Visors are a no no. IMHO.

I don't really look good or like anything on my head, so I'll usually not even wear a hat either.

But, when playing in tournaments, I have to wear the current year's version of the Nike Tour hat. White in color.
