Excluding playing , who's job would you want?  For example would it be Scotty Cameron, Johnny Miller, a tour rep, an R&D; specialist, Butch Harmon, a design engineer, staff writer for a golf publication?

For me, I'd think it be cool to to be involved in the equipment design side of the business.  I grew up with my Dad owning and running his own golf store in the San Francisco Bay Area and my first job was as a tech rep with Ping.  So I've always loved trying out different kinds of clubs and geeking out over all the tech stuff.  So as much as I rag on Scotty Cameron, in a perfect world, I can see myself designing high end clubs, being #1 on tour and making a nice living doing so. Marty Jertson's got a pretty cool job too.

And even though I'm involved in instruction and enjoy sharing quality information, I don't think being a top instructor with a stable of tours players is for me.  Get blamed for when your players perform poorly and too much credit when they play well.

For me, the "tech" side of the industry would be a fascinating world to be in.  Considering how much of an equipment geek I am now, being involved with the latest and greatest in technology would definitely be the thing I choose.

I can only imagine being at a place like Nike's "Oven" or any other brands development facility and working with engieers all day testing clubs.

I would be Rory, Keegan, DJ, Rickie etc.  I would want to be a up and coming tour player.  Nothing better in my opinion to get paid millions to play the game I love.

Yes, I know this is the stock answer, but it is the real answer

My answer is going to be a little different.  I'd like to manage a club.  Not the club pro but the GM.  It is something I could do well.  I know my strengths and think it would work for me.

But if I was a different person with any skill, I think being an engineer would be amazing.  But my brother got that skill.  I got common sense.

I'd like to be Paula Creamer's caddie. She makes some good money and the view would be fantastic.

I'd like to be Justin Timberlake. He makes more money and gets better views.

I'd have to go with Agent. Someone like Chubby Chandler. Have half a dozen high-end golfers as clients. Line up sponsors, schmooze, and collect my 10%. Seems like a good gig.

    • Day 76 - Pretty sore today, so I opted for putting over my Stack session. Primary focus was on starting line, as my putting has been pretty poor this year.
    • Been a bit of delay in updates but I needed to come back east as my mom's health has taken a serious turn for the worse. In a 3 day span we learned she had a tumor to she has stage 4 cancer and stopped eating and drinking for the most part. She has had a rough 3 months but certainly didn't think we'd be at the point of setting up hospice for her. My mom was never into any sports really other than following the Red Sox because my dad was a big fan. She always cared about what we were involved in including asking about how golf went.  I have kept up with my 5 minutes of daily practice and will go to the gym here in NH tomorrow morning. Despite the somber nature of this trip my family has commented more than a few times about my weight loss so it's important to me to keep it up. I know my mom always wanted us happy in whatever we did so I'll continue with my fitness journey keeping that in mind.
    • Day 109- Putting drills on a putting green for 20 minutes.
    • Day 252: did a stack session. Did some slow rehearsal swings during breaks.
    • Day 82: 3/18/24 Tried a Stack session but could not certify my warmup. Finished with indoor chips and putting.
