What's going on with the sight line on the back? Looks drawn on by a 4 year old.

Saw that too, the owner probably did a horseshit job of using "paint fill".  A fake wouldn't look that bad.

Or the original fill is flaking off.  I’ve had that happen with a Scotty.  Disappointing to say the least, but a relatively easy DIY fix if you take your time...

It's hard to tell from the pictures but it definitely looks beat up and it's what I would refer to as one of the weird models (no offense) that drop in price far more than the traditional Scotty designs. So I don't know that it's a fake as much as appropriately priced for what it is.

It isn't fake and the site line wasn't drawn on.  That's exactly how the original club looks.  The club has been used without a cover so it has wear.  I can't believe some of you thought the site line was drawn when clearly it's engraved into the metal.  I had this putter and that's exactly how it appears.  It's real.

Nobody said that. They said it looked poorly drawn on. It does. It also looks like it's flaking off, which is probably what is happening.

I have one of these.  This one looks like it checks out.  My advice, nonetheless, skip this putter and get a seemore or snag a newport 2.6 or the new phantom putters look cool.  I love my seemore sb1.  Although I am interested in the directed force putters or the new center shafted scotty.

How easy of a fix is this?  I think the paint fill in my irons' numbers is coming out and I wouldn't mind doing something for them.

It's a simple fix if you have a reasonably steady hand and some patience. I repaint my Scottys as I don't like the stock colors they use. Just need some acetone or paint stripper of some kind to remove the old stuff, then some acrylic paint. You can use brushes but I find the needle tipped paint fill bottles work better and cleaner. Once it's dry you can just wipe over the surface with a little more acetone on a clean cloth to remove any drips or runs.

Specifically you're going to want to use Tamiya acrylic paints, especially if you want translucent colors. Those are far and away the best paints on the market for the job, and they're what I've used for doing my putters.

Those are what I’ve used too.

Available at any good hobby/model store.
