Years ago would have never dreamed being here doing this.  We're at Rockfest in Barcelona going to watch my son later playing guitar with one of the legends of rock in front of 50,000 people.

Never could imagine this happening.

Very cool.   Enjoy.

There were certainly many times when  I was out in the middle of the rain forest far away from any civilization in Gabon, Africa where I had that very thought.

Yeah...Night ambush in the pouring rain in a beautiful Asian nation. A surreal paradox for a kid from semi-arid West Texas. But all is well now...They have golf courses! Best, -Marv

There's one of Nick with Sebastian Bach after Sebastians show.  He was side stage watching Nick last week in Sweden and was complementing him on his shredding.   The others are from the show.  You can see stuff on youtube Dee Snider rockfest 2019 Barcelona.

Can't describe what's it's like to stand up side stage and watch him in front of 50,000+.

    • I agree with this 100%. I forget what tour player said it but they mentioned how in pro ams they hear amateurs say how they always make a majority of their mid range putts. His reply was no they don’t because if you did you’d be better than everyone on tour. Even pros think they’re better than they are. Back when stats weren’t as well known as today they asked a bunch of pros what the make percentage was on tour for 6 footers. The consensus was around 70%. Crenshaw was the closest with a guess of 50%. Actual percentage was 54%. I always thought it was interesting that one of the best putters was the closest.
    • Day 145 - 2025-02-22 7-7 today at Golf Evolution. Managed to sneak in some work while waiting for dinner when I got home, though.
    • Day 15: 2/22/25 Putting through50 mm gates weight shift drills. Playing tomorrow, and will see how I do.
    • This is a good point and I’m going to go down this road. I’ll get some data on both techniques, compare the two, and then make a more informed decision. I’m bad about going off of what I “feel” is the best but should definitely approach it with more hard data.  All that being said, this made me laugh and is likely the cause of me wondering if the broomstick would be a better technique. I mean, who doesn’t want to get a new putter?
    • Day 32 (22 Feb 25) - Got in some wedge work with the 58° in the backyard before heading to a noon band rehearsal.  It’s the weakest part of my wedge game, so figured it would be good to work on distance control for a few minutes - varied the distances and lies from 5yds out to about 25yds.  Nice little drill session to kick off the day.
