Wow, I guess I won’t have to bother checking my roster for the rest of the weekend.  Only one of my players made the cut.

This was the first event I've had 4 players hanging around for the weekend ...

I get the feeling sometimes these guys make an appearance in these end of the season events and don't care so much, and would just like to have a little family time with the wife and kids.

Anyone else get a bunch of emails saying their players had WD when in fact they had not? Seem to remember the site glitching like this once last year too and they canned the points for the week. Difference was this is a non-cut event and it was locked and you couldn't sub new players in.

They are playing the THE CJ CUP @ NINE BRIDGES  in Korea

It's 11 am there and they are on the course playing.

Dang it, two weeks in a row I missed the deadline.  I forgot Korea was in a very different time zone (almost wrote "timeline"). 

I also started Evan Engram in fantasy football last week, so maybe I'm just bad at this whole "set a reasonable lineup" thing.

Yes. This happened to me during Nine Bridges.

Just checked to see about this weeks tournament and 5 of my 6 selections did not make the cut and the one who did isn't on my play list today.
Oh well there is always next week & I can't do much worse than this week

Hey everyone, a reminder that Segment #2 starts up again next week. 

If you are late to the party but want to play, this is a good time to join as Segment 2 of 4 is starting. You won't compete for the season title, but can compete on an equal playing field for the remaining 3 segments. 

Just look at the first post in the thread for how to sign up, and the format of the PGA Fantasy league.

Well the saga continues into 2020 …  🥵
Just when I thought I was going to give you a run for the money this week @gogolfing
my boyz continue to preform poorly when I start them and my bench rocks.

Round One, I omit starting Rickie in the first round.
Round Two, I sit McCarthy and Harman
Round Three, McCarthy comes alive and I cry … :cry:
Round four is going to be tough to close a 40 point gap ...

I forgot to check before today's round began, it looks like I'll have 5 players miss the cut this week - my starters combined to go +22 yesterday.
And I'll name names - for this shitty performance I would like to thank Viktor (+7), Rickie (+6), Brooks (+4) and Billy Ho (+3) with Oosty on the bench at +4; only "local" favorite Brian Stuard (-3) did worth a damn for my fantasy team yesterday. And everyone on the course is on the + side already today.

Oh well - next segment starts soon

@Wally Fairway I had a look around the PGA site, and it did not have any information on the next season, but with the first event next week, I would not be surprised if it does start. Would be a quick turn around with a Monday finish, then a Thursday start on the West Coast with the Safeway Open....we will have to keep our eye on it and get the word out. If you are already registered, I think we can just make picks, then will have to set the League up.

      Yep, I almost flagged an 8 iron just exaggerating my right elbow backswing stuff 🤣 I am sure I might get some stalling. Maybe the sequence is a bit out of sync. I also tend to flip more when I overswing. Doing really good. It’s rejuvenated me a bit. I’m going to start weight lifting soon.

      CONGU – who control handicapping in Great Britain and Ireland – affirmed the Local Rule could not be used in any qualifying competitions or general play scores. That’s any event where handicap marks could be affected.

      I think you are spot on.  Seems like every survey I read about playing golf in the US says that the biggest issue here is pace of play. Anything that can help pace of play feels like a good idea.

      Just checking.  Are you healthy again? I seem to remember you going through some injury issues. Are all of those behind you now? Or are you still doing PT?
