I used it for a couple of years and loved it. Then it seemed that Titleist changed it, since it didn't feel or perform the same. So, I dumped it. I don't know why manufacturers do that! I understand trying to make things better, but for what reason? Is this R&D, or the pencil pushers not liking the sales numbers?!

This time of year, I go for visibility.  Just picked up a sleeve of a ball I haven't played before to see how it goes.

As a 68 year old 16 Hcp I play better with a soft feeling ball that has decent performance on the green.  I have played many of the premium tour level balls with no difference in final score than my surlyn softer golf balls.  I agree that a more talented golfer can do things with a tour ball that most of us cannot.

I have seen Volvik balls that have faded.

I played it today. I think could find it a little easier. 

 I’ve seen faded yellow balls of a variety of brands—found balls with one side faded, one side not, so I don’t think it’s unique to volvik. But yeah, the brighter the color, I expect more fading.

I just thought it was funny to include a warning about avoiding sun exposure for a ball for an outdoor sport. Maybe Scotland? Seattle?

I picked up a couple dozen Srixon Z-stars on Amazon for $29.99/doz. I played a round with one a couple months ago and liked the feel. Soft around the green. 

So with 2 doz Chromesofts and 4 doz Z-stars, I don't think I have to worry next year unless I start playing some really bad golf.

I'd agree with this. I always take advantage of the Srixon's and Project A's when they are on sale and load up. They are high quality, high performing balls that should suit most players.....

Bought 2 dozen Srixon Q Star Tour balls and have played 2 rounds with them.  Last Friday shot a 78 and this morning shot a 77. This morning shot a 43/44, made 5 pars.  The ball felt pretty good off the driver, a little longer, and performed pretty good in cooler and breezy conditions.  Felt pretty good off the putter and I seemed to putt pretty good with them.  These balls were at a good price of $19.99 a dozen...Hoping to play again this week an getting same results.
