Nice video, Adam.

The last time I got fit for a driver. They gave me the "stock" shaft and the "upgraded" shaft, I still have the "stock" shaft sitting around here someplace.

My bag is an ever-changing combination of clubs.

A mix I am forever tinkering with.

Good video.

At my fitting it was recommended that I keep my driver and get stock shafts in my irons That makes me feel a bit better about the fitter.

Just wanted to thank the people who provided me with some of their fitting build sheets. Hopefully don't mind that I used them in my newest video highlighting some of the questionable practices going on with some fitters. I of course removed any personal info and never mention any of the fitters by name. Unfortunately this stuff is happening far too often to not be called out by someone.

If you want to see it.

You made this video?  Solid work.

Nice video Adam. This should help a lot of people at fittings.

A guy I know was fit for Ping irons at Club Champion, and had a shaft upgrade that was $60/ shaft for steel shafts. He was not given credit for the original shafts, and he wasn't given the original shafts.

Yeah. I say bad fitters in the video like I am referring to individual people, but really I am talking about certain fitting companies who I didn't want to call out by name specifically.

    • 89.    Came less than a centimeter short of my first eagle. Had an ugly triple on the last too. But didn't lose a ball. Now in the last 3 rounds I have only lost 1 ball.
    • Played the same course as yesterday today. 6,860 yards, 72.6. Scored better today. Shot a 37-38 for a 75 and did something I don't recall ever having done before. The par 5's run 522-646-523-557 and I birdied (or better) all of them. They only reason I turned in a respectable round was because I played them -5. I only hit one fairway on the front 9 and then hit 4 on the back. Only hit 9 greens today. I didn't hit the ball well at all today, but putted pretty decently. Just was in a weird swing funk. 8 bogies, 6 pars, 3 birdies, and an eagle.
    • Heavy rain from a squall was pounding down. I hit driver on #18 at Pierce Lake to the hole location back right. Probably 230 yards. I knew the shot was good but did not tarry and hustled over to some sheltering trees until the squall passed. Eventually the rain lessened a bit and I jogged over to the green. 6 feet. I missed the putt but the tee shot was still darn good.
    • They would murder my home course (Leslie Park). 6,611 yards/72.0/129. If someone can hit it 300-350 yards, there are multiple drivable par 4’s and all the par 5’s could be reached in two.
    • Day 1 - hit a few balls into net using 9i. Haven’t played but two rounds all year so needing to knock some dust off. Today just revisited some PP from the past (club back & up, extending trail arm)
