Bag of tees.

While in I checked on the status of my driver repair (VR Pro STR8 fit sent in to Nike to fix a rattle).  Apparently Nike just decided to replace with a new driver -  they got it back 6 days ago and sent it home with the wrong customer.  Now waiting until thursday to get it back.

that's now almost a whole month they had my driver for what is normally a 3 day repair (drill hole, spray in rattle foam, plug hole).

on the plus side, when the manager found out about the issue, he personally took it on to fix asap - and did a good job.

I just hope the replacement driver is otherwise identical - I like the shaft and grips on the club.  If not, I expect the store to match it.

Picked up a new Cleveland C15 60* Lob Wedge at Dick's on clearance for $50 to replace an older Cleveland Lob wedge (588 TA). Love the feel of this thing. Hit it at the range this morning. Can't wait to play it on Monday morning!

A set (4 - PW) of Ping 703 full cord grips and one SuperStroke for the putter.  Can't wait to try them out.

In my  Superlight 3.5 Dlx bag:

Warrior Custom Golf driver 11.0*

Warrior Custom Golf 3W 15*

:cleve: Mashie+ M3 [Miyazaki C. Kua 59 R]

 Eye2 4-PW [zz-lite]

Warrior Custom Golf wedges (56* & 60*)

 HPC w/ SuperStroke grip (33.75")

Bag under constant development due to available funding.  Warrior clubs inherited and temporary.

A set of neoprene iron head covers. Got sick of bag chatter and my irons are fairly new.

An old pro once told me this....."No matter what youre going through in life....Never sell your golf clubs."

Found a tour preferred CB 3 iron at the golf town, perfect since I play the MC's and I wanted a forgiving long iron.

Ping I20 3-W at a discount. Labor day sale. Old Mizuno MP32 3-pw really cheap.

    • Day 133: did a stack session.
    • You can pre-order an R50 here for pretty rapid shipping (these are back-ordered almost everywhere): https://www.playbetter.com/products/garmin-approach-r50-golf-launch-monitor-simulator?ghref=2301%3A700794. This is an affiliate purchase, and I'm willing to kick back lifetime ad-free Supporter membership here on TST or a 90-minute GEARS session for the cost of a regular member lesson (about 1/3 the cost). Also, I'll record a video myself soon when I get an R50.
    • Day 58 - 2024-11-27 Some quick 90-yard shots on a particular hole… before a lesson and testing out multiple Foresight Launch Monitors on GSPro.
    • Day 209 (27 Nov 24) - Easy session with the LW - short pitches replicating greens side up and downs. Finished up with the 7i and hard foam balls - making 1/2 to 3/4 swings with deliberately slowed tempo…from varied lies.
    • Yes, this is the 2024 model. DSG ruined what Callaway perfected for most golfers. A darn good 3 piece golf ball. Now it's a 2 piece cheap ball. To me a 2 piece ball is fine and a 3 piece budget ball is better. I prefer a slightly harder ball, something in the 65-75 compression range that will perform similar to the old Gamer. The Titleist tru-feel is pretty good. I planned on giving Maxfli straightfli a try.
