The Orange Whip.   I used it this week for the first time and I'm impressed.  It helps with conditioning and helps to a more fluid swing.

The other day in Michigan I picked up a Taylormade R11s adjustable 3 wood (15.5) and a 54-11 SM4 Vokey Oil Can wedge. I paid 139.00 for the 3 wood which was a great price IMO and 119 for the wedge which was average but I liked it and was worth it to me.

Rockbottom had 2012 True Tours on Sale for $60 and shipping.

Went today to use a gift card I got for Christmas:

I picked up 11 lamkin crosslines (on a budget and have heard great things)

Double sided tape

Time for a regrip. I did hit the Adams CB3 and was impressed. Was also going to pick up some more Velocities but thought that can wait because of damn snow on the ground

1dz used balls, 1dz Slazenger balls, set of 3 adams hybrid covers and a snickers bar.

I put Adams and PING in my OGIO Recoil bag. I'm shooting for the low 90's by summer 13'

Took advantage of the BOGO sale on Maxfli U/4 balls on Dick's website and picked up four dozen of the U/4 ball. I've heard good things about them so we shall see...

New grips at Golf Galaxy. I have never seen a cashier less interested in her job. She was chugging a bag of barbecue chips as we walked up. My son was concerned that she would get the grips all greasy. Golf Galaxy came in, and the local shops left. From now on, I'll get my stuff at my course,or I'll drive 30 minutes to go to a small shop. Golf Galaxy and Dick's won't be getting any of my money.

Two new Vokey SM4 Wedges a 50 and 56 both taken a day later by my14 year old son.

    • Lazarus Irons....top notch and way cheaper than the big brands.
    • I know you guys were discussing this like a year ago. But, ironically I just had this discussion with my brother-in-law. We literally just did one of these. I'd always used the "Slow-Cook, Rest, and Sear" Method. But my bother-in-law was convinced the "5-Min/lb, 500 degree" method was the way. So, we gave it a go. I have to say it came out great.  I have a 25 year old, electric oven, GE brand... Not sure if that matters, but it came out great. ... Of course we stressed that nobody was to open the oven.   I don't make these all that often so, I'm not sure if I can fully recommend one method or the other, because without doing a Pepsi Challenge, I'd say both ways come out great. 👍😁👍
