Scotty Cameron California Monterey, 35 inches of pure sexy!!!!!!!!!!! Last week I picked up a set of Ecco Biom hydromax shoes. Next week I am shopping a hybrid maybe titleist.

$5 - a demo 6 iron for my wife to figure out her basic swing.  once she gets the basics down, we'll go get her fit with a full beginner set.  My thought is she at least needs some kind of swing before the guys at the store can even start to see what she needs.

so - her bag:

6i - some kind of taylor made with a graphite shaft

3H - some kind of hybrid with a flexy graphite shaft

I figure on only a couple things - a flexy shaft, and lot of game improvement, helping type of features to start.  and cheap to start - we can upgrade later if she likes the activity and gets halfway decent.

i added to my growing stash of balls today while at walmart, picked up a dozen noodle+ easy distance.....i've got to get a grip on this!

browsed pga superstore in Schaumburg for about a hour today. hit the j40 dual pocket cavity irons but left with a dozen of e7`s. Will probably pick up the irons with kbs tour 90's when I get my fantasy football winnings

I bought mizuno mp 69s only to return them, Adidas tour 360 ATVs orange a silver pair and Carolina blue pair.

In my  stand bag

 :titleist:910d2 8.5*

  speedline fast 12 3w

 910h 17*

:titleist: 712 cb/mb 3-p

 :mizuno: MP-T4 56* 60*

 :nike: method 001

:srixon: tour yellow z star xv

a pair of SNAKE EYES golf mits (over my golf gloves) and a mini- golf towel with club scrubber attached.

I put Adams and PING in my OGIO Recoil bag. I'm shooting for the low 90's by summer 13'

I had a fifty dollar gift card from Sports Authority. I bought a new set of RAM FX MAX 10 irons for 37 dollars 4-AW that were on clearance at 80 percent off.

I bought a Tommy Armour pitching  practice net for about ten bucks and a TA  club groove cleaner brush. I paid 72 cents out of pocket for all three items.

Then I got out of there before I spent any more of my own bucks.

In my  bag:

Driver, Callaway Diablo Edge Tour 9.5 stiff

3, 5 woods: Callaway Diablo Edge Tour 15,18 degrees Stiff

2 hybrid: Callaway Diable Edge Tour 18 degrees R (out when the 5 wood is in)

3,6 hybrids: Callaway Diablo Edge 21 S and 30 degrees R

4,5 hybrids: Callaway Razr X HL 24 and 27 degrees Stiff

7-AW irons: Callaway Razr HL graphite R shafts

SW 54 Callaway X Series Jaws CC Slate Fujikura Graphite Stiff

Putter: Odessey White Ice 1 Blade Putter.

Ball...looking for any ball that hates water, sand, long grass, and getting lost in the woods.

I can't find any, so forced to use ones that seem to love all the above.

New Sun Mountain Four 5 golf bag. I had the Titleist Mid Sized Staff bag and I love it, but it's just not practical for how much i play and go to the range. I needed something light weight.

3 dozen Titleist Velocity balls. They were out of Gamers, so I opted for these. I like the ball for the money but still prefer the gamer!

I've only been to the golf store once in 2013 (trying to cut back my twice a week visits) and also picked up 2 dozen Titleist Velocity golf balls. These balls give me a solid 10 more yards with every iron (over the ProV1) and I have no problem stopping them on greens. I'm getting about 15 more yards off my driver and my misses don't seem to sail as far off course. I'll likely play these for a while. I lost ONE during my round yesterday (island green par 3).

I purchased a SKLZ Gold Flex swing aide. Great item for warming up or on days cant get to the range I try to swing it up to 200 times. I did find another great use for it, it helps keep my wife at bay during PMS//Menapause moments very handy to keep the werewolf cornered till the full moon goes away

Monday I got fitted at g.g. ended up goin home with 913d2 . I tried both t.m. new drivers and they just did not click for me . Tuesday went to my local golf shop , ordered 913's , 2 fairways and 1 hybrid . tink'd around with del mar - golo- rife 2bar . took the del mar home with me . enough spent in one day .

RBZ 3 hybrid Tour, Taylormade Corza Ghost 35", Nike V Rev 60 degree, OGIO Vapor Stand Bag and re gripped all my clubs. Bag is pretty much complete now except I want a matching 54* Nike V rev wedge

For whatever reason it seems to get very little love. The only thing I like about the Gamer V2 over the Velocity is I prefer the feel on the Gamer with the putter. Anyone who likes the Top Flite Gamer or Bridgestone E6 should give it a try. Now I am heading to the golf stores in the morning so more than likely I will be posting in this thread again in the morning.

Taylormade RBZ 4 hybrid, Taylormade RBZ 3 wood, a dozen NXT Tour's, FJ Pure Touch glove, and a driver fitting session. Ended up cutting an inch off my driver. Good day for sure.

a swing lesson and a fat putter grip I'm liking both.

I really need to get a swing aid (probably at the store - something like the o-whip would be nice) and a better hitting mat - already picked out and on line - though.

waiting, just not wanting to spend that money right now

    • Lazarus Irons....top notch and way cheaper than the big brands.
    • I know you guys were discussing this like a year ago. But, ironically I just had this discussion with my brother-in-law. We literally just did one of these. I'd always used the "Slow-Cook, Rest, and Sear" Method. But my bother-in-law was convinced the "5-Min/lb, 500 degree" method was the way. So, we gave it a go. I have to say it came out great.  I have a 25 year old, electric oven, GE brand... Not sure if that matters, but it came out great. ... Of course we stressed that nobody was to open the oven.   I don't make these all that often so, I'm not sure if I can fully recommend one method or the other, because without doing a Pepsi Challenge, I'd say both ways come out great. 👍😁👍
