Traded in a Cleveland FL Fairway 17* to get an R11 16* Rescue on sale at Golfsmith on saturday , played it on sunday and my first shot with it  was about a 220 yard draw off the tee that followed a dogleg left like it was on a track, kind of looking for excuses to hit it after that.

TaylorMade RBZ Stage II Driver. 9.5 degree, stiff shaft.

Took it to the range today, and loved it. I moved on from an old Nike SQ 10.5 with a regular flex. Adjusted the BRZ loft down to 8, and was just crushing it. Can't wait to try it out on the course tomorrow after work.

Reminds me...I desperately need a new golf hat. I've been wearing the same Nike TW hat for like 5 years now. I really need a new 56 too...picked up a 52 about a month ago.

Did a swap at Edwin Watts, Titleist MB 710 for Mizuno MP-58 with 5.5 Project X shafts. Got some Golf Pride grips put on. ....those 710 clubs are a beast to hit

Nike VRS Covert Driver & Nike VRS covert 3 Wood with Kuro Kage Regular shafts at Dick's.

Was going to order it with the Project X 5.0 shafts until I spent some time hitting the stock shaft on the monitor......decided I liked the lower boring trajectory and the accuracy was terrific.

Also bought two dozen Maxfli U2's (BOGO)...have used the U4x and wanted to try the U2....at $10/dozen why not?

Played Sat & Sun trying to get used to the Covert....getting quality distance as I adjusted the loft to the 12.5 neutral setup. All drives were right down the middle!

Going on a Buddy trip this week (7 rounds in 4 days) and wanted to be sure I had it in my bag.  Got 26 players for 4 days in Sebring, FL making the total weekend payout $3,600.
