Just replaced my old Titleist carry bag with a TaylorMade Micro-Lite. It arrived today and I took it to the course this afternoon. What a pleasure! It only weighs 3.5 pounds empty, and still has lots of room/pockets for the stuff I like to carry.
Two thumbs way up.

Just went to Golfsmith to get my MP-58s and ended up going with Callaway Diablo Forged irons, custom fitted. Can't wait to get them, they felt fantastic. I loved the MP-58 as well but...maybe in the future :)

I bought 50 bridge stone e6 from lostgolfballs for 29 bucks! Such a good deal and the balls are better quality than I could of ever imagined for AAA grade.

finally got a chance to really hit some balls at the range with my brand new Titleist 909F3 15* FW. I've had to slow my swing down quite a bit because of my recent upper back injury and a pestering discomfort on my right side ribs.

Apparently at the age of 25, sitting around in an office and generally sedentary lifestyle will make you pull all kinds of muscles if you don't stretch enough.

Anyway, even with a slowed down swing, this FW wood is blasting off my face. Definitely loving this wood. Thinking about tossing my 18* TM Burner and getting one of the Titleist 909F3 18*.

im thinkin about ordering some balls from lostgolfballs.com and wanted to know if you have had more than one experience is it consistent with results. I think regardless of quality 50 balls for those prices is awesome

A regripping kit, an extension rod, and a Winn AVS putter grip for the Scotty. I did flirt heavily with the Burner Superfast, but decided it wasn't worth the divorce that would ensue.

    • Going to a Friendsgiving tomorrow and I am bringing a no-bake cheesecake. I make the crust too big, but I think it turned out good. The filling is really good.
    • Sure, but how was your alignment? 🙂 Day 53 - 2024-11-22 Mirror work after getting back home. Wife is a superstar for her career/job/whatever.
    • I would say your back nine is the second nine you play that day. It's part of what makes getting some of those holes tougher. Or, if 18 holes are played pretty often, out of A, B, and C, and you often play A and C, A is the front and C is the back, regardless of the order you play them in. That way not birdieing C #7 isn't overcome by birdieing the easier A #7 on a day you played it C-A instead of A-C. But, at the end of the day, nobody really cares except yourself.
    • Day 128: played 9. Nice little even 9, with 2 birdies and 2 bogeys.
    • @DeadMan, I think your approach makes sense. As @dennyjones said, consistency is the key.
