The object of this thread is to tell others about an interesting fact(s) about the aforementioned golfer. Please don't respond to each others posts. Simply state any interesting fact(s) that you know that maybe others won't. This is an experiment and if people are into it maybe we could do other golfers too.
Of course we might as well start off with Tiger Woods.

don't know if that last one is a proven fact...it's been debated numerous times though.

His best friend is Jerry Chang(sp?)...who caddied for him at a tournament just to make some extra dough. Tiger was helping him out.

TW 3-putted the first hole he ever played in the Masters -- he rolled his lag putt off the green, chipped back on to 15 feet, and sank that putt for bogey.

Tiger's dad, Earl, played his first round of golf at Dyker Beach in Brooklyn when he was stationed at nearby Fort Hamilton.

(I'm assuming it wasn't Backbreaker Sunday - basically most ridiculous hole locations possible - since he appparently enjoyed himself.)

      I voted "Decent Weather Golfer". I was going to describe my general rules...but then @saevel25 did it for me so I'll just copy his, with one addition: Temp: Above 45 degrees (pending wind at the low end).  Below 90 degrees. Weather: On and off rain, I am ok. I may not go out by myself, but I am not skipping a tee time if the weather is just meh. T-storms, or torrential downpour, then it will be a game time decision. Snow is out. I will never play golf when it is that cold out.

      All weather, but very rarely if it’s pouring. Some rain is fine. Wind is a more no-go than rain. Especially wind and rain. I’d rather play in cool light drizzle than 80° F+ and sunny. My body is not designed for hot weather. My perfect conditions are 60-70° F and cloud cover. If it’s a bit nippy I can wear more clothes. I can only remove so much clothes if it’s 75+ and still get too hot. Warm and cloudy can work too.
