$24.50 for 18 with a cart as a student.

It's not actually any cheaper to walk, which is nice because you're never slowed down by that group of 4 jerkoffs who won't spring for carts.

I threw my clubs into the lake so it's time to start over...

We walk most of the time and have been held up by 4 "jerkoffs" riding in carts plenty of times.

For 18 holes during the week and during the season at my local course it is $34.00 just to walk and $41.00 on weekends.

Add $17.00 per person to those prices for the cart.

I don't understand why cart prices are so outrageous. It's not like it costs them that much to maintain carts and especially now that my local course has electric ones, they don't have to pay for any gas.

In a lot of cases, 4 guys walking is going to hold you up less than 4 guys riding.

I've been in plenty of foursomes walking and we get held up by two players in a cart. When you have 4 guys all walking to their ball at the same time it can be a lot faster than all the driving back and forth. When I do ride, it's about $12 for half a cart.

I agree - just because you walk doesnt really mean you are slower than people riding unless they are all low hcps who never get off line.

Our cart fee is 25 € (or 20 € before 10am) for 18 or 15€ for 9. That alone is a reason why 95 % of our members walk - and lets face it - cart culture is really unpopluar in some clubs at least.

$7 per rider per 9 holes. $14 per rider for 18 holes. And that is less than most in the area.

    • Day 292: light day today. Mirror work, working on getting my hips more open in the downswing.
    • Day 135 (27 Apr 24) - played Bradford Creek today while waiting for the missus fly in from her extended visit with the grands.  Good day to stay focused as it was a hurry up (groups pressing from behind) and wait (groups taking their time ahead)…a good day to stay mentally in the game - play the shot and not get frustrated in the waiting…
    • Day 122: 4/27/24 Supposed to be a Stack training day but I was beat after yard work today. Practiced chipping and putting at The Creek. The practice green is pretty slow but the session went well.
    • Went to the range today and was cursing myself when I got there as I realized I forgot my phone. I added an earlier wrist hinge to the short backswing I was using last time practicing and ball strikes were really good for the most part. I'm heading back to Boston Thursday to see friends and family and have a couple of rounds planned so I'm hoping to keep this feeling.  Yesterday morning I weighed in at 232. My goal had been 230 but maybe now it's 220. I'll have to think about that. I feel so much better without the extra 90 lbs. from 2 years ago. Still a softl slightly less protruding belly so it might be time to go hard on eating better. Work in progress.
