I'm 23. Starting playing at 8 years old. Stopped playing at 16 and picked up the sticks again about 3 weeks ago. Trying to get my game back, but it's quite ugly and very erratic these days.

I.m 50 , I played one summer when I was 13 or 14 then gave it up for women and work. Took the game up in July of '07 and the game has gotten better to the point of shooting a low of 81 on a tough hill course and getting a hole in one on Memorial day of '08 209 yd par 3

32 here, only started seriously playing about 3 years ago, only 20-30 rounds a year unfortunately

This is very interesting. My guess would have been the majority of the users would be between 30 and 50 (my age group). But the stats have shown that the largest responses are from ages 20 to 40.

Does this make a observation that golf is still very popular to the younger generation?

I turned 38 a few weeks back. Been golfing for several years.

42 this year. Took up golfing at age 14. Stopped golfing at age 18 (life got in the way) Starting golfing again at age 40.

I just turned 56 and started playing in June of 2003, so just a little under 6 years. Just joined a winter golf training program this year, so hopefully each Spring won't feel like starting over!
