Apparently, sombody who claims to hit 9-irons 220, 5-irons farther than most tour players can hit driver and professes a +4 handicap, even though he/she just started playing.................     Gotta wonder.........   Patrick????

I think I hear a reel singing in the back ground.... ;-)

I think we should have a rule in place that says you have to have a "My Swing" video posted before you can just put any old distance you want down.

Welp, there seems to be a couple of people that took the bait, regardless of the size...lol

My problems so far seem to be getting enough clean hits, as I am a hicapper still... I hit about 10 yard more than my dad, but I struggle with quality of hits sometimes...

Here's a true story from the golf field though. I was amazed by this shot that my dad played. And this is a true story btw . My dad is getting older, but he still packs a good whallop in his driver shot!

We were on a par5, playing  from closest tees, it was 360 yards to the flag. My dad hits this perfect tee shot with driver. The Perfect Hit.

It rolled to about 300 yards, most assuredly it was 290, at least.

My dad played his 60ish yards approach shot and had a possible eagle putt there... But he screwed the putts and made either a birdiee or par, I forgot...

I played bogey, on that same hole, for which I was happy about also.

Normally I hit about +10 meters / yard compared to my dad, but that driver shot was SOMETHING, MAN, I tell you!!!

All my distances would be with rolls included

52deg wedge = I don't use so much

60deg 11 wedge, my sandclub mostly = I dont use much except for sand shots

56deg wedge = under 100 yards I Suppose? I don't use terribly often for full swing shots, only chips and approaches.

PW = ca. 110 yards off ground? Ive hit 100+ meter/yard with range balls...

9i = 120 yard

8i = 130 yard

7i = 140 yard

6i = 150 yard

5i = 160 yard

4i = 170 yard

17deg hybrid = havent used in a while. It has wrong stiffness (?) of the shaft so I don't like the club...

21deg hybrid = most shots failed in last game, hits were not terribly solid. I like the club though...

24deg hybrid = I HIT AN AMAZING tee shot in the last hole of the round, long-ish par4. IT MAY HAVE BEEN 200 yards.

putter = only putts, with putter LOL!

I just picked up a new set of TM RBZ irons to replace my impossible to hit Nike CCI forged irons.  Distances have dramatically gone up.  Forgiving clubs with very strong lofts.

I'm also in much higher elevation nowadays.  Moved from FL to CO.  Distances automatically went up as well.

Driver - 250-290 depending on a LOT of things lol.

Well...7 iron on one of those machines at Golfers world.

worst 229m (251 yards)

best 240m  (264 yards)

hit some dozen or 15 / 16 shots.

3 weeks ago at LD competition, hit my Titleist 910 D3 307.8m into the wind on a bog of a fairway. Very very disappointing.

Elevation here though is about 4500 feet above sea level.

Best with driver on course...par 4 downhill, some breeze (10 - 15km h) behind. GPS on cart left me 32m from pin on 416m (457 yard) hole. i.e. 386m total. (424.6 yards)

Now with X100 shafts and Hogan apex blades..7 iron is 220m average (with range finder to practice green..tend to go over it by a few yards), no wind..

with wind I use my 6 to pitch the flag.(204m)

Coastal...8 iron is typically 185m at my favourite driving range.
