What new club did you get for Christmas?

Since it's pretty much the loft between a 7 and 8 iron, why don't you just hit an 8 iron?

It just seems really weird to me.

I was going to get a rangefinder, but instead wanted and got a Sony Vaio laptop instead. I needed a laptop for school and can get a rangefinder later.

I got a 18.5 909f2 and a 21 degree 909h. Went to the range and have never hit a hybrid better. Flew nice and i could work the ball anywhich way. Same went for the 5 wood except this is the first 5 wood?i have ever had very impressed so far. The clubs would be in my sig but am posting from a phone so its hard. Also got a book tigers swing very good book. Great thread!

Thought this would be a good post for my first reply. Got a Cleveland Hibore XLS 5 hybrid. My hybrids are all Cleveland and I seem to be able to hit them well (for me anyway).

How did you like it so far? I´ve had one of those for 4 months now, and just now I´m starting to get the feel of the distance...I mean, the putter is really easy to line up, but the face is just too hot, I was getting too long or too short all the time but now I´m getting better. I think I was just too used to my old blade putter, it was a big change.

BTW I´ve got myself an Adams Golf A4 OS #3 Hybrid for christmas....SWEET CLUB so far!!!!.

Santa brought me a Cally #4 Fussion Hybrid and my choice of balls for the upcomming season the Cally I,like 7 dozen.Also got the new Cally Ion glove so my possitive ions will be in balance even if I am not.A few shirts ans a few new hats and permission to get the new FT-9 if I like it in January when it debuts

Mizuno MX 650 for me,also a box of rubbish balls that I will use once at the range,a hip flask,a bag of plastic tees(rubbish) A scorecard holder??? A cap and golf towel and last and the stupidist pressie ever..........A little clicking machine that you press every time you have a shot and it tells you how many shots you have taken.The monster in law must think I cant add up to ten!

Dissapointed with everything but the driver and hip flask Ive just cheered myself up and brought myself some MX 25's with the boys college fund. (I'll put it back later~~~#)

I got Stan Utley's short game book. Haven't begun to read it yet. I got a few golf components (Snake Eyes Forged Wedges, Golfsmith P2 irons [5 and 9 irons], Dynamic Gold Shafts, Golf Pride Dual Compound Grips, a clubmaking book, and a clubmaking set (parts, tools, etc.). I got a Gustbuster umbrella just in case I play in the rain.
My dad owed me a wedge (from a bet a while ago). Instead, I asked if he could get me hybrids/woods that account for the same amount as the wedge. He said sure, so I got a TEE Iron-Wood off eBay. I may get another one if I like it. Or I may get a 3 or 4 wood from like Adams. Not XMAS but pretty close.

My dad also wants a Wii for his anniversary in January. I may get him that and buy Tiger Woods 09!

so far all ive been to do is hit putts on the carpet in my house considering its 30 degress here in Pittsburgh! i set up a little target area in the corner of the family room and i have to say that ive been draining putts from all over the place. this is an amazing club. the ball jumps off the face like ive never seen before, especially when you hit the ball right in the middle of the insert. i love this club!

im going shopping on sunday and i think im getting the burner07 19* hybrid, cleveland cg10 wedges 54* and 58*, and a bionic glove. i love spending money!
