Geez, I'm a 3 and I've only had 1 eagle in my life. It was a 480 yard Par 5 and chipped in from behind the green. I don't go for too many par 5's in two, or many par 4's in 1, so that's likely the culprit.

I think I voted on this already, but . . . 2 or 3 every summer the first dozen years I played. Now I'm more conservative.

I did 3-putt for par twice last summer - that was awesome!

Had one from 110 yards out on third shot on par 5. Actually a sandy eagle as I drove into a bunker. Also was during tourney at my local course. 2nd hole nice start.

Other one was at Princeville in Hawaii. The Macau course. Short par 4 next to ocean. About 310 yards. Up hill (all I could see was top of flag) chipped it in from maybe 30 yards out.

My first and only Eagle happened last year. Happened at New Albany Links. Hit a 3wood about 3-4ft deep into the right rough. I have about 140yards in hitting out of some thick rough. Pin was on the back left of the green, couldn't even see the hole. I choke down and whack it. I see it bounce on top of the hill and roll out of sight. I didn't think anything of it until the guy walking his dog in the neighborhood near the course yelled, " It went it!"

So for being my only eagle, it was quite memorable. I had my own gallery. :). I've came close a lot and have had a lot of chances. I am hoping for a lot more this year since I feel I am a lot better in the short game area.

3 eagles,

2 hole in ones and drove a par 4 and made the putt for an eagle.

    • #1. I rather lower my score by 3 instead of making an eagle... but a hole in one is a hole in one and I'm still didn't make one.
    • I'm available all of those weekends.   How do I vote?
    • Option one. Would like an ace even if it’s a worm burner. Have witnessed a couple of aces so would like to be on the other end.
    • OK - I think we should narrow down a weekend, and start there.  We're going to try to do this in June. I've created a Doodle poll where everyone can vote for the options that work for them.  Please include your username so I can track/post results. Doodle Doodle is the simplest way to schedule meetings with clients, colleagues, or friends. Find the best time for one-to-ones and team meetings with our user-friendly calendar tool. Get started today! (I only put in the Saturday dates, but assume the outing would include Friday - Sunday). Once we select a date that works for the most people, I'll start to line up courses and schedule and go from there.
    • Option #2 because I'd add the condition that it's in a tournament. Because that'd mean I'd break par in a tournament. And I already have a hole in one.
