For some reason, I always hit spot on with my 4 iron, and it even goes where I'm aiming. Why is that? Is it just a confidence thing? What clubs do you never miss with?

"Miss" is a relative term based on expectations. Those expectations tend to vary with skill level. As an example, you often see a tour pro pissed off when he hits a shot that I'd have been pretty darned pleased with. Given that, I can't think of any club with which I never miss......my expectations just continue to change.

Kind of self-fulfilling disappointment, I guess......

No one club in particular. I miss with all of them. But lately my 5 iron feels great in my hands and I can seem to do whatever I want with it, not sure why that is but I'm not complaining.

Lately I've been great with my wedges, consistently getting within 4-5 feet from 50 feet and in. It's all the other clubs I have issues with

My 7-iron is my go to club. I love it.

I will say that I'm genuinely afraid of my 4 and 5 irons. I need to spend more time with them on the range.
