Oh god, you would hate to play with me, I have headcovers on all my clubs except my 56* & my 52* (only just recently put iron covers on, due to getting brand new irons) & i always do my pre-shot routine. You would also probaly get annoyed with the amount of stuff i drink & putting drinks in and out of my bag.

Funny. Well, of course I would never say anything so as not to be rude.

I cant have anything in my pockets that create a buldge, ie keys, phone wallet etc.

I keep 2 tees in my right pocket 1 short 1 long. pencil, divet tool. ALWAYS. score card in my left rear pocket.

I have to hit a titleist or nike ball, anything else makes me feel weird. Also I dont like 4 balls, 3 is my prefrence or a 1. 4 is the chinese number for death, im not chinese but it bugs me. I have club head covers on every club, not for any reason other than noise, and keeps them shiny.

I also hate riding in carts, it makes me feel rushed.

I must use the line on the putts. I use the line-em-up thing with a sharpie. If it is a competitive round, I will not use the ball until the first tee. I also like to mark my ball with an A and and a H combined. My wife and son's inital. Also will reconfirm after ball is down to make sure that is the line I want to start my putt on. Always start from behind.

I like my clubs very clean. I like to dress nicely when I play. I care more about that when I am playing than any other time. It makes me feel like I am going to play better.

Mark ball with Quarter only heads up.

Nothing in pockets except quarter, tees, divot tool, score card.

- I can't stand having anything with any bulk in my pockets. Scorecard, pencil, tees, and that's it. No coins, cell phones, divot repairers, or anything else. (I wear my divot repairer on my belt.)
- I have to have sunglasses. A hat upsets me.
- I don't like being able to see my bag when I swing. I have to put it behind me.
- I can't stand having my belt buckle on the very front of my shorts/pants. I twist the belt such that the buckle is on my left hip. If I can feel it at all when I bend it irritates me.

I do this except a few tees in my pocket. I also have to have the scorecard in my back left pocket with 2 pencils. Finally i ALWAYS mark my ball heads up with the top of the head on my approximate line.

I have to wear my lucky Disneyland visor with my new york yankees hat clip. And i have to have a pinch of skoal in. Just keeps me focused ha.

My list is long, but here it goes:
- I have to wear a hat
- I only use white tees
- I always keep an extra ball in my pocket, along with a silver dollar to mark my ball, and a divot tool.
- All of my clubs must go in the correct spot in my bag.
- I always have a drink with me, either a water or gatorade.
- I always wear a white t-shirt under my polo shirt.
- I always wash my ball before teeing off.

I'm sure I forgot about a couple.

I put my sunglasses on top of my hat when making a shot and then put them back over my eyes in between.

I also only wear black socks. Always wear a hat. Only use white, wooden, 3.25" tees (driver) and a broken one on par 3s. Hit shots with glove on, walk with glove off. Clubs in the right slots. Clubs clean. Wet towel. I always use a coin with a good date (1969, 1970, 71, 72) to mark the ball. I mark a thin red line around the entire ball for aligning putts. I change my spikes often.

I hate using my good towel for cleaning anything, so I bring along a cheap towel to use instead. I also generally don't like to use new equipment like tees, balls, gloves, etc...until the older stuff gets lost or becomes unplayable. Other than that I think I am pretty normal.

I just wanted to take a moment to thank you all. I used to think that I was pretty neurotic with my whole "no white tees" thing.

After reading this thread, I have a newfound respect how well grounded and normal I actually am!

I always wear a visor and sunglasses, no keys, wallet or phone. I have a spare ball and tees in my left pocket, an orange divot repair tool and a purple ball market in my left. I also keep the ball and tee I am using in my right pocket when going from hole to hole. Like the rest of the people out there, each club has its' place in the bag.
