These are my two favorites

Right now i like watching Rory (because he's Irish, got to support my heritage), and Ricky Fowler because he does his own thing, and really comfortable in his own skin.

Fred couples and Jason Dufner. definitly the kind of pro player i would be. laid back, smooth form, liked by many but not huge success winning everything i play in.

If I had to pick just one...Tom Watson.

Ballesteros - best looking swing ever, charismatic, unorthodox, crowd puller,a man of the people,a maverick, when you watched him play it was always enjoyable

Recently been reading about Hogan's 'Magical Device'.

What an incredible student of the game. Lot's of really great players over the years, but only one Ben Hogan. He's my favorite...

Ken Venturi

I read a Golf Digest interview with him years ago and he just impressed the heck out of me.

Taken under the wing of Byron Nelson, he played with the greats and held his own. Guy was in contention to win the 1956 Masters as an amateur and later confided that Bobby Jones told him if he'd won the 1956 Masters and remained an amateur, he would have asked me to be president of Augusta National. Imagine Bobby Jones telling you that............

Although he only won one major (1964 U.S. Open during horrendous conditions), his knowledge of golf is impressive. I loved him as a commentator as well.

There was also the 1958 Masters where he was playing with Arnold Palmer when Palmer wanted relief from an imbedded lie on hole #12. The rules official declined and Palmer made double bogey. Palmer decided to play a provisional because he disagreed with the ruling and makes par with the second ball. Venturi called him on it before he played it stating to play a second ball you must announce your intention before making another stroke. Three holes later the rules officials change the score to indicate Palmer was given a 3 on the 12th. Of course, Venturi is crushed by that incorrect ruling and Palmer goes onto to win his first major and Venturi finished 2 shots back (the same two shots given to Palmer). He didn't raise a stink about it (at least not that I've read) and let sleeping dogs lie.

A couple of his most memorable quotes.......'Take your par and go quietly'  or when watching Curtis Strange go for the green in two at Augusta with the lead instead of laying up "He was gonna make no worse than 5, but now he's brought 6 or 7 into the equation."

Phil Mickleson and "The King" Arnold Palmer. Phil seems to have a great personality and a passion for the game. And Arnold had a huge passion for the game aswell.

Arnold Palmer, because he was gracious and friendly when I asked for his autograph.  Did not expect him to stop and sign, but he did with a smile.
