Well some big names in the field this weekend, but with tiger starting to come back to form with a 4th place open finish - How will he fare this weekend on a course that even though never has been on the PGA tour; plays into tigers strengths.

Big names also in the field:
Rickie Fowler
Dustin Johnson
Justin Rose
Jim furyk
Jason Day
Ricky Barnes

Big Names Missing:
Poulter, Lefty, McIlroy, Harrington, Villegas, Els

i think he'll be in the top 10. i don't know that he'll necessarily win but he'll finish strong.

I'll take Barnes or Furyk for the win over Fowler, Johnson, or Day...and i really dont care for Justin Rose.

I'd vote for "I dont care about Tigers finish, but will be watching the tournament" however that option wasn't there, so I didn't vote

Go Fowler !!!

Tiger is in the hometown favorite swing coach, Plumber's or Plummer(sp) territory. Even this guy's enemy's say nice things about him as a gentleman and his great knowledge. Regardless of the stories they try to pin on Tiger that he thinks he is bigger than golf, that he cant take a coach his equal. I dont buy any of it..Havent seen anything from him that would even suggest that. The guy is my hero. I predict, Tiger will team up with Plumber and the press will go wild with wire stories. Plumber will say something like, what a great tribute this man is to golf, and to sports, and it is always an honor to stand beside a guy that has made such a difference in the golf world and in his charitable efforts. Plumber will give Tiger the enthusiam and tweaking he needs-Tiger= wins by 2. Plumber=nothing but for the love and respect of the game. World press=love it! These guys both carry alot of fan weight.

i don't know what to say or think about camilo. i really like the guy, but damn if he isn't more inconsistent than tiger. only he doesn't have the short game to keep him in contention. i really thought this year he'd break out and become a perennial top 10 finisher and contend for a couple majors. he's been quite disappointing this year.

I'd love to see Tiger get a win here.....would make St. Andrews that much more enticing if he came in with a little MO......

Voted don't care, but will be watching. I feel like I've been beat to death with all the Tiger hoopla/media frenzy. I'm ready for some else to totally dominate if it would be the end of the media Tiger frenzy. Please someone step up, Phil, Rickie, Paddie, Watson, ....... somebody I don't care who, I just need a break from the Tiger scandal. I don't hate Tiger just need a break from how the media revel in the downfall of the famous.

That was just a terrible swing, i don't know how a pro could even swing a LW that poorly.

Tiger still sucks.
A great shot is when you go for it and pull it off. A smart shot is when you don't have the guts to try it. ~ Phil Mickelson.

I'm wondering, if tiger makes the cut and goes onto sunday.

How will he make it over to Ireland and play in the JP Macmanus Pro-am on monday?

Maybe he's playing bad on purpose to make it over to ireland?

Meltdown.....makes bogey from 83 yards in the fairway on 16 and then rinses one on 17 on his way to a Double???/

WTF.....maybe the divorced decree provides for Elin to get a share of his winnings this year and he is pulling a Freddie Couples........
