I am just trying to know what shot you hit generally. I am currently reworking my driver to be a draw, but dominantly I hit a fade. What do you guys hit???

If I ever get happy with myself for finishing 12th or 15th, someone needs to put my clubs away and I'll take up tiddlywinks.

Depending on the situation I can work it either way. My "normal" ball flight is pretty straight with maybe a 2 yard draw.

I draw it every time. It's a predictable draw so I can be pretty consistent. I've played with this swing for a long time now and I know what it's going to do. But I can work the ball either way I want easily. I just get the draw going so when I'm 165 out and the wind is right to left, I can take out a 9 iron and make my playing partner pretty jealous ;)

I’m old school where back in the day almost everyone tried to hit a draw for the extra distance it generated.
Today with titanium drivers and vastly improved golf balls it is not needed as much. Now it’s a matter of hitting the shot you are most consistent with and using that to your advantage.
Great golfers have been able to work the ball either way, at will, for hundreds of years. I do not fall into that category.

I used to have a terrible slice, even with a driver equipped with a draw inducing hosel. Thanks to tip from my brother, I hit it with a very slight draw now and I'm slowly but surely learning how to shape my shots by opening and closing the clubface. It has actually made the game more enjoyable for me.

I used to have a terrible slice. Almost as much right as forward seemed like at times.

Switched swings with a little coaching; now I hit it straight; whether I hit it a reasonable fade; right down the pipe or a 5-10 yard draw; if I don't mishit it (big if) it's getting where I need to be more consistently than I'm used to. Though now with more working I'm almost always either pretty much perfectly straight or my baby draw.

I usually hit pretty straight. Most only leak left or right a few yards either way, unless I have a poor swing, but even my misses tend to be fairly straight, just fat or thin.

As my swing has developed I get a lot more leaking left than right...

I'm back to hitting draws with my irons, but that draw turns into duck-hooks that don't leave the ground with my woods.

My ball flight is either straight or a slight fade. On hard doglegs left, I'm in trouble. (Unless I can hit a 3W over the dogleg....my shot trajectory with Driver is high enough, but not enough to hit over trees.)

Well, I do slice reasonably often, and I do straight-pull or hook occasionally. I voted for my usual decent shot, which tends to be a fade with mid to long irons through woods+driver. Short irons and wedges tend to be straight.

I hit it very high, with a slight draw. 2 yards with a shorter club, 5 with a driver on good swings, but at times it can turn into a push or a hook. I prefer no offset in irons and open faces or fade bias in my woods. I also use very hook resistant shafts, the driver and 2 wood have X shafts; the 2 iron has a soft X (Rifle 6.5); and the irons are all S (I prefer steel shafts to be a bit softer on the count of arthritis).

I plan for a slight draw with woods. I avoid high spin balls because my stock drive turns into a block out to the right in fear of hitting a snap hook.

I'm working on hitting a straight ball with all clubs - almost there.
