Had 4 consecutive birdies today and was quite close to making the 5th. What's the most in a row you have ever made?

4 for me a bunch of times. Par 3's have always ended the streaks.

Three in a row and then on to 5 out of 6 is my biggest spurt of birdies.

3 is the best I've done. Funny thing is I prefer par 3's because my iron game is 100x better than woods. I rarely birdie a par 5 even though I'm a longish hitter. Never know where the driver or 3 wood is going

I said 4 birdies in a row. The first 3 I remember (long putt on a par 5, chip in from 50 yards after flubbing my tee shot on a par 3, knock down to 2 feet on a short par 4) but I got a phone call right before teeing off on the fourth hole and all I can remember is the details of the phone call.

I should have had 4 birdies in a row last Sunday, but I only made one of 4 straight short birdie putts (one ended up as a 3-putt par - grr).

Mizuno MP600 driver, Cleveland '09 Launcher 3-wood, Callaway FTiz 18 degree hybrid, Cleveland TA1 3-9, Scratch SS8620 47, 53, 58, Cleveland Classic 2 mid-mallet, Bridgestone B330S, Sun Mountain four5.

I always birdie the same two par5's at the course I play regularly. Those would also be the only two holes i've ever birdied lol.

Two in a row and the most bridies in a single round is 3. Most eagles in a single round (I know you didn't ask) is 2. Never had a double eagle.

Making par is pretty good for me, and the most birdie I got in a round is twice. Of course, not in a row.
So, 1 for me.

Shot 67 a couple weeks ago. Birdied the first 5 holes in route to a 31 on the front. Wish I could have kept it going, I could have gone real low!

I made 3 birdies in a row earlier this year on holes 5, 6, & 7 at Heron Lakes Great Blue in Portland OR and finished the front nine in even par.

I can never seem to follow up a birdie with a birdie. I have played with a gentlemen at my club who had 6 birdies on his first 6 holes to shoot a 29. He ended up with a -2 overal on the day.

I had three in a row once. But the first eagle I ever recorded (drained a 30 foot putt) was followed up with a chip in birdie! I don't really make many birdies (I putt like crap) but I don't make may doubles.

    • I had another interesting ruling last week, in a pro "junior/senior fourball" event.  Near one of the greens was a drain, with the actual grate set maybe 3 or 4 inches below the ground surface.  It wasn't in a depressed area, basically just a straight-sided hole, with the surrounding ground pretty level.  A Player's ball was in some longer grass adjacent to the grate, maybe even overhanging a bit, to the "side" of the drain, so the path of his swing was "tangent" to the circular grate.  The ball was at ground level, so 3 or 4 inches above the metal grate itself.   As I saw it, there was no way at all that the actual Obstruction would impact any reasonable swing path, so I denied relief.  I did talk it over with another official, who said he would probably have allowed the relief, but agreed that it was a borderline call.
    • Here is where we're at so far.  (3) more spots left for Saturday, and (2) Sunday.  Again, if there are more folks interested in both days, we'll give preference to them.
