That's absolutely hilarious!  I especially loved Rory's comment about only having to iron two outfits.     It's great to see that these guys can rib and poke each other with trash talking that's no different than any of us with our mates.    Except that they do it using social networking with many thousands of followers, probably sending it out from their private jets.    Or maybe they have people to send the tweets out for them.     OK, so maybe they're not exactly like us afterall........

I'm waiting for the poster that will say they are a disgrace or something to that effect. There's always one

I can't believe this, isn't there any gentlemen left in the game of golf..  ;)

Nah, just kidding, great stuff there..

I wont say it is a disgrace, but I don't really care for this kind of stuff.  It is one thing to send private emails or text to each other, but making it public just seems a little bit too "look at me".  Better to be known for the quality of your wins than for the "wit" of your tweets,

But then again, what the hell do I know?

If you're waiting for the poster who would rather get a root canal than read Twitter banter between Rory McIlroy and Ian Poulter, you can check that off your list.

There was another one a while back where Poulter tweeted a big rant about people wearing steel spikes and how it fucks up the green and he missed a bunch of putts because of it. McIlroy tweeted back that he wears spikes all the time and that maybe if Poulter got his swing speed above 100mph he would wear spikes too!

Well, I can't say that Poulter's play is backing up the bravado of his tweets. I think McIlroy would kill him in a head to head.
