The homework that would show that Americans enter important wars after everyone else, at the last possible moment and start ones when there's a government they don't like?

What a moron you are.

In the race of life, always back self-interest. At least you know it's trying.

I COMPLETELY agree with you on that one. LOL. I'm an American and proud but you're exactly right!

I can't even believe this thread took up this many pages.

Direct your comments to the OP and not Americans in general.  I don't think you'd really want to start an America vs the World argument here now do you?

Lol, what an entertaining post. Senorchipotle has 1800 posts in TWO years (he joined in 6/2009, not 2010, genius); I guess he wasn't far off the mark by calling you a dumbass.

Bonus points for bigotry, too. You're gonna go places, kid.

I love how posters on sites like this berate individuals they know nothing about. My comments were directed at the French....Travel there then comment.  The French generally hold total disdane for Americans and their difficulty with Bubba is just common to their difficulty about anything American. I propositioned that in my trite comment.  Anyone with the slightest intelligence would pick up on that.  I'm no kid and have traveled the world quite a bit. You travel all over Europe and everyone loves Americans.  Go to France, Quite a different story.  That's my experience. Maybe a few of you posters should get a first hand experience in France to know of what I speak.  So will the French invite and pay Bubba to come back? But of course.  Will Bubba go??????And 1800 posts in 2 years I guess means he has a life......Yea! I guess you think I actually read these posts closely.  Yea....My aim was to initiate dialogue away from the idiocy of Bubbadumby....The only dumbasses are the dumbasses dumb enough to be concerned about what the arrogant French think about Bubba. If I have offended you, good that was my intention. So many smartass punks think they know so much and have so little real world experience.  And am I a bigot. No I just don't buy anything French.

Why assume we all know nothing about Bubba?

Travel there then comment :

Believe it or not, many Europeans travel widly and have passports and everything too.

The French generally hold total disdane for Americans :

I wonder why that could be? Cheese eating surrender monkeys anyone?

I'm no kid and have traveled the world quite a bit .:

Really? Can you not act like it then?

....The only dumbasses are the dumbasses dumb enough to be concerned about what the arrogant French think about Bubba :

You have missed the point (quelle suprise). Bubba's actions in France did not only upset / annoy the French.

If I have offended you, good that was my intention :

Was your intention also to turn up to a battle of wits unarmed?

Was your intention also to make yourself QWQ

did the little baby get his feelings hurt by the big bad french man? i'm sure the french were rude to you, and i wouldn't blame them. you're the american tourist who goes to other countries, doesn't bother to learn any of their customs or language, and expects them to show you where mcdonalds is when you ask them in english. as a matter of fact, i used to live in france, and have encountered americans such as yourself with no respect for other cultures. and it's damn embarrassing. so do the rest of us a favor and stay in west virginia next time.

I have travelled to France many times and the French are wonderful people - as are most nationalities.

You will only encounter "arrogant" French if you walk into a restaurant or shop or hotel and immediately start speaking English and then continue doing it more slowly and loudly when it is clear that you aren't being understood.  They are icredibly friendly and polite people.

A good example of this type of thing is a converstaion I had whilst in France with a couple of Americans.

One woman said "We had a problem in Paris because noone at our hotel spoke English".

I said "You had a problem at your hotel in Paris because you don't speak French."  The irony was completely lost on her.

Another classic  was on  a train in Italy. We were winding our way through the mountains and there was a beautiful river down in tyhe valley.

Loud American exclaims "That's a perty little river down there but you know what? I wouldn't wash my goddamned feet in it."

I've witnessed awful behaviour by many nationalities in many countries, but you don't condemn a whole nation because of the actions of a few.

In the race of life, always back self-interest. At least you know it's trying.

    • Day 116 12-6 Still working on getting to lead side. Tonight I also tried some skill work with clubface awareness.  Hit foam balls.
    • To flog this subject even further, if that's even possible, this article from Golf Monthly just appeared today in one of my news feeds. Written by a golf writer in the UK who I never heard of, he's basically saying that there should be only 3-5 rounds from the most recent 20 that should count towards the average and only competitive rounds should count. He claims the erratic scorers would have less of an advantage than they do now. He makes a lot of references to "club golfers" in the UK being the ones who are mostly dissatisfied. https://share.google/qmZZBEoJvOxHxJGil  In my experience with my league where we have golfers with indexes ranging from 5 to 40, looking at the weekly results from the past two years, I can detect no pattern that would substantiate the claim that the current system gives an unfair advantage to either erratic golfers (aren't we all?) or higher handicappers. Apparently though, at least in the UK, this seems to be "a thing."
