Rolling my shoulder and doing shoulder stretches. Putting Icy hot on it, and rolling it with a tennis ball.

Trying to heal the muscles, so I am taking it easy off the tee.

Key 2 has made my worm burners much longer now (180 yard worm burners on average :-D ), but unfortunately I am getting a lot of worm burners off the tee. Good thing my MP-32 irons still get me to the green (within 10 yards or so).

Thanks for the kind words, felt great today.  Started with just the 45 lb bar on Sept. 3 and now pulling two plates on each side.  Now if I could only see such linear progression on my handicap.

If golf were as easy as lifting, we'd all be good golfers tho, so you wouldn't be special. :-P

EDIT: Maybe "simple" is a better word...as bodybuilding is far from easy.

I consider lifting weights as hard work. Not as fun as other activities. If I could just cross train different activities to get better, that would be the way I would go about it.

Im one of those people who everyone hates. My metabolism is through the roof and I can eat everything in sight and still not gain weight.

I play multiple sports as well as strength training so I always struggle with going close to falling into the underweight category.

Needless to say, outside my sports I do no aerobic training at all.

Prime example: Last month I completed the Everest Base camp trek. 12 days straight of walking at high altitude. I kept my pre-training to an absolute minimum because I wanted insulation on my body.

I kept it to 1 month of jogging before hand.

In the one month and including base camp my weight dropped from 138 to 121 pounds. People called me skinny before! This doesn't stop my driver being avg 290yards!

My training consists of consuming excessive quantities of rice, pasta, chicken, steak, fish, protein shakes, bananas and vegetables and not much else..

Tonight: Indoor cricket (damn aerobics). Last night: Driving range - trying out the 915. Tomorrow night: Legs workout (gotta get my skinny pins a bit thicker).

Video or it didn't happen. 121 lbs and AVERAGING 290 yards I would say is close to impossible.

    • I have that club and absolutely love it!
    • Have a 19° (moved to 20.5°) Titleist 915H. I just love the club. Beautiful feel off the sweetspot, high launch, soft landing. Versatile. In the future, with less overall speed I will replace my 4 and 5 irons with another hybrid, something around 26°.
    • Broke the head of a Stealth Plus on a warm up. TaylorMade send me a new head but I decided to upgrade it to the new IQ10 LS and pay the difference. While I was waiting for the 8° head to arrive at the store I messed around with all the multi brand putts they had available. I instantly liked a black TaylorMade Spider, not the new one but very similar. The weight felt perfect. Big line in the middle for easy alignment. I was playing and old Zebra so the change in technology and feel was huge. Fast review of both clubs.. Driver QI10 LS. I always hit to ball up in the sky. I was playing the stealth at 7° with a 60g X low flight shaft and I was still hitting it pretty high. With the QI10 playing it at 6° now is almost hard for me to hit it high, with the same shaft the ball comes out lower and with less spin. so I'm really happy with the change. Putter Spider. I love it. It took me an afternoon to figure out how to grip it (it comes with a superStroke grip) but after that it all came into place. More stable on short putts and a good weight to swing smoothly on long putts and with added forgiveness over my old zebra.
    • I have a 2h but we don’t get along anymore. It’s a bit of an abusive relationship - she gives me just enough hope once in a while that things are going to be better and then it’s back to the same old shit. I went to a PING fitting recently with the intention to replace the hybrid with a 5w or something, thinking maybe I’ll be better with a fairway wood than a hybrid. But it turns out the best club I hit that fits in that slot in the bag is another hybrid so I ordered it.
