Okay. The rain pants comment was not directed at you. I thought that was obvious. Apparently I was wrong. We'll move on now yes?

The U.S. are going to win. That much is a virtual certainty. If anyone has any interest, post here and we'll do a live chat like we've done in the past.

I would participate, but I guess it's possible that I would miss the first couple of holes

USA held on, Norman's got to deal with another disappointment.  Good for Furyk, 5-0.  Tiger played well and clinched it.  Could be the boost that Tiger needed after the last 2 years.  Freddy was asked if he'll captain again and said he would if he was asked.

Watching Brandel talk about Tiger,  "It's not the swing changes it's in his DNA.  He could take lessons from Jim Furyk and in 2 years come out and beat everyone's butt"

One thing I've been wondering, do you think the U.S. plays better in the Prez Cup than in the Ryder Cup or are the Europeans that much better as a team?

Is there anywhere on the PGA tour or another site that shows each individual player's point totals- I know I could tally it up myself, but am feeling lazy

Brandel is just a tosser. Everybody's worked that out by now. And yes Europe is just that much better. I mean you just have to look at the world rankings, there is no comparison.

Maybe if Brandel just waived his magic fairy wand, threw some pixy dust in the air, and then did a jig around Tiger while he lay peacefully sleeping in his bed, Tiger would win majors again.

Agreed on Europe just being the much better side. I think the avg. world ranking (not that that really matters, but it's interesting) of the Internationals was something like 35. Plus, the Euros don't have any glaring weak links like a Robert Allenby, even though you can hide weak-links better in the Ryder Cup based on the format.

And I think it's a lot more natural for the Euros to feel solidarity against the US side, as Greg Norman alluded to in his post-presser.

Sorry for the double post, but I wanted to say that the live chat last night was a lot of fun. And it was great to see Tiger snipe some putts too. Good times.

Baddeley is obviously hitting it so much better with those big misses off the tee too. lol.

Euro's thrive on Ryder....Intl's could give two ####'s about Pres IMHO.....Like any rivalry....If one team continuously knocks the snot out of the other.....Is that a rivalry?

Would the US team prefer to win Ryder of Pres Cup? Of course Ryder Cup. Why? Because they do feel the rivalry there. imho.

Examples? Would have Mahan fluffed the chip in a Pres Cup due to pressure? Dont't think so. Would have he cried in the press room? Not at all! imho.

Congrats to both team, the President Cup is always a fun tournament to watch. Let's see what will happen at Medinah 2012! :)

    • Ok, I'm trying to find a feel to hit a consistent ball flight (irons).  My current predicament.  1. I try to do the arms down stuff better, with the club feeling like it is way behind me more. It's just a cluster of results. Most of the time, I can't get any speed on the swing. If I get my arms down faster, I just throw them out.  2. I focus all my attention on turning better. Pushing off with my left leg and getting my right side through better. On the DTL view, this doesn't produce anywhere close where the hands and club should be. The result is usually ball first contact, lower ball flight, more centered contact.  At this point, I am going with option 2. Stop thinking about what the hands do. Just make a shorter backswing, keep it wide, turn through. Somehow, the club head finds the ball. My focus is so much on just making sure I turn, it's like, "Oh, that contact was better.... Oh, that bell flight looks playable." If not, I will just be practicing my entire summer.
    • Nope, they spent too much money. They are in over 28 million on the football roster and related NIL compensation at this point. Boosters associated with any Texas college football team has HUGE sway. The AD is between a rock and a hard place. They put a lot of money into Sorsby, at the chance of winning a NC this year. If you move on, you basically wasted a lot.  This is why Ohio State wants 3 QB's they feel can start. That is why the backups the past 5 years at some point transfer. Texas Tech has no backup near the quality of Sorsby. If they move on, they are screwed for 2026.
    • Maybe there's something I still don't understand about the situation. Wouldn't Texas Tech do itself a favor to move on from Sorsby at this point?
    • Day 281 6-10 Full swing, fast, getting low point ahead of "towel".  Working on flow during this seems to help.
