Are you FREAKING kidding me? Payne Stewart you are calling a tool? WTF did he do to you? I've never heard anyone say anything bad about him. He was very good guy, he will be missed. And I actually like his outfits.

Look it up.

Payne Stewart was known as one of the most unpleasant players on tour. A full on jerk. Arrogant to the absolute max.

His death was an absolute tragedy, and obviously, you'll only hear players talking about what a great guy he was.

Only speaking ill of the dead because you seem so surprised to hear that he wasn't the saint some pretended he was post mortem to make themselves look good.

In the race of life, always back self-interest. At least you know it's trying.

Daly seconded. The sight of him at Torrey P, at close range as he strolled to the next tee, smoking a ciggie and dressed absurdly was, well ..... entertaining I suppose. No, I'm not that into orange either. Puhleeze give us all a break .... I liked Payne Stewart, sartorially speaking. Isn't that the question here?

Sorry to get off topic here but if your going to bash a guy then you should tell the whole story not just a piece of it to conveniantly fit your own belief. When Payne was younger he was a arrogant jerk and probably quite a bit immature in how he dealt with people and adversity. But if you did any research at all you would know that he did a lot of growing up the last 5-10 years of his life and to his friends and family was more than beloved. One of the most heart-felt moments in golf history was when he grabbed Phil Mickelson by the face with tears in his eyes and consoled him after he had just beat him for the US Open telling Phil he was going to be a father! Read "Payne at Pinhurst" to educate yourself on who Payne Stewart really was!

Back on Topic:

John Daly - He looks like a walking talking Circus Tent.

Ricky Fowler - In my hometown they would dress up convicts in orange jump suits to pick up trash along the highway

No - this was one of the most syrupy BS "image building" acts ever seen on a golf course.

Just remember - Stewart won.

I'm pretty sure that Phil would have preferred to have been congratulated for a win rather than told "You're going to be a father!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

He would have had both, and the loss didn't change it.  But, obviously Phil would say that it was a "classy" thing to do.

When you read stories about about Stewart, like the one by Feherty, they basicall say." I used to think that this guy was an arsehole and here are 20 reasons why. They then go on to talk  about one thing he did that showed him to be human. All of these stories and accolades came AFTER his death.

LOL, well that's your opinion, were all entitled to have one. Perhaps you should start a new thread regarding your hatred for Payne Stewart? This one is about worst dressed players!

Did I bring up Payne Stewart?

And I have no "hatred" of him or any other player.

Fowler and Daly with Fowler being number one because not only does he dress that way he has a huge following doing the same.   I saw a guy at the wells fargo wearing all baby shit green with lime green belt and green puma shoes.

I love that Daly guy. And you know he totes his young son around the world with him and provides home based education for the boy. Big John is showing his son that good golf has nothing to do with clothing. Play good and the world takes notice.  Don't trouble yourself, son,  with anonymous bigmouths on some website-they are dime a dozen and have never played as well as dad.

And if Fowler would change that orange he wears for Tennessee Orange and White he would be a sure winner-Go Vols!!

Poulter is on target for some big news soon but yes, he often needs a brighter color combo.

Geoff Ogilvy.

What's with the drain-pipe pants and gigantic shoes?

Now he's got that ridiculous moustache going on as well.

Ricky Fowler

Ricky Barnes

Ryan Moore

I have to disagree with most and think that Daly is the best dressed.

I would say John Daly but I don't really consider him to be relevant.  What some chubby has-been wears at a golf tournament in Singapore or wherever they still let him play matters not a whole lot to me.

Now Ricky Fowler is a total clown.  He gets my vote for number 1.   Everybody else is way down the list.

Sabbatini has a stupid hat.

Ian Poulter - ridiculous.  I bet he believes in his heart of hearts that he could've made it as a fashion designer if he wasn't a golfer.  IJP Designs?  Seriously?  Why not just open a winery like the others?

Since we're keeping it to just 3 I'll leave it at that.  There are minor infractions all over the tour but, really, nobody in any industry has looked as stupid as Rickie Fowler for quite some time.

If a mustache counts, then Fowler.  I had one one like that when I was 18 and wanted to buy beer more easily.  I don't think he needs one given his current age and status in the world.  Now if he dyed The Stache orange...

John Daly - the absolute worst. I've never seen anyone actually wearing that Loudmouth gear, and hopefully I never will. Christina Kim - wow, just wow. She must get dressed in the dark! Jim Furyk - I'm going back to those shirts he wore with full length buttons. Truly weird look for golf. More current would be Ricky Fowler's Sunday orange. Like to see him tone it down, keep some orange but not the full length Popsicle suit.

3. Shingo Katayama - looks like he should be in a circus riding ponies with that silly hat.

2. Ryan Moore - reminds me of a cross between Mr. Magoo and Mr. Rodgers

1. Ricky Fowler - puke orange and a porn stache is not a winning combination

Honorable mentions: Jesper, Poultar, Sabbatini and Christina Kim

    • Day 120 - Played 18; much better than yesterday. Miss right now is off the heel of the club, so I need to sort that out.
    • Today we played Pease Golf Course in Portsmouth, NH. Course was in great shape but my game didn't show up. I will say I pitched and chipped fairly well but almost everything else was very hit or miss. Cost myself a lot hitting an in play drive with pulling my approach shots maybe 85% of the time. Finally figured out I had been swaying most of the round. Only took me until 13 to figure it out. Used what felt like a much more centered turn and the ballstriking improved. 18 tomorrow using a 2 man scramble format. Just looking to contribute. Been a blast though.
    • Day 22: Hit balls with 7-iron using mevo+ to track dispersion. Was out for a long time after work; 86 balls but the first 50+ were 50% swings focusing on top of backswing feel and then just hitting the ball as a psychic reward. Finished with 20 balls close to full speed. Pretty happy with dispersion and also no horrendous misses. I’m chunking my priority piece out into two separate feels, first and more important is the position/balance at top of backswing which is what I was working on. Once I have that engrained I’ll move to transition part.
    • FWIW I never really had issues with the previous generation of Snells. But… I'm not sure I played them a ton, either.
    • I know Dean Snell designed the original Pro V along with a couple of other brands tour balls.  How exactly does the Snell ball have problems.  Did he change something in the design or is a manufacturing error since he cannot afford the unlimited R&D budgets of the big manufacturers to iron out flaws
