Titleist 909. Usually, Titleist improves with each driver the bring out, and the 909 was a vast improvement over the 907. I don't think you can get a 910 for $120, but I think you'll still do well getting a 909.

Ryan

Cobra s3, you can get them new for around that. Very forgiving, I hit mine well and I never used to hit a driver well. I like the blur shaft as well

Check out Callaway Preowned, and try to catch something on one of their frequent sales, I recently got a Diablo Octane driver in "Like New" condition (which as far as I could tell was brand new, still had factory plastic wrappings and stickers) for $111.99.

After breaking a few drivers since I had one last, I went back to the Taylormade R7 with a new shaft.  Still my favorite driver ever and can easily be had on eBay for less than $100.

Also, I recently got a used Tour Edge Exotics 3W from a few years ago that I easily hit 10-15 yards farther than any other 3W I've hit.  I haven't hit their drivers but I've heard from guys who have that their drivers also hit the ball a good 10-15 yards farther than other drivers with comparable lofts and shafts.  So consider their drivers from a few years back if you need some distance.

Adams F11. You can get new for around $100 on ebay. Adams offers a variety of shafts so you should be able to find something to your liking. Their "velocity slot" technology is one of the reasons Taylormade bought Adams this year (very similar tech to rocketballz and Taylormade wanted the patent that allows a slot on both the top and bottom of the club which Adamd owns).  You get a lot of technology bang for your buck.

I may be biased. But the 2009 Burner is pretty great, and you could get one new for that price. No adjustability or anything, but still a great club.

this! also the 07 burner was EASY to hit. i found i was longer with the 09 but the 07 was easier for me to draw and hit straight.

One of my teammates uses it and loves it. I really don't think they have changed much since 2009 except the looks and adjustability. My only dislike is the stock grip wears out really quick, but I guess I have used it for 6 months playing 4 times a week at least...

Mizuno JPX-800.  Id get a 10.5* in regular flex and have a driver that is very friendly and easy to hit but is still a cannon when you hit it flush.

JPX800 is an excellent low spin head. If your already a high spin guy avoid the '09 Burner. I just picked up a minty F11 for $65 delivered this week. The Nickent is a steal and a great head also. Many options to be had for well under your budget.

    • Day 23: weird day, and only had a little bit of time. Just did mirror work again, working on where the elbow is in the downswing
    • I flipped over to this tonight and thoroughly enjoyed it. Anyone else watch? I picked it up during the golf relay event, but seeing these pros out having fun in alternative events was refreshing and entertaining. I’m sure it will be on in reruns in the next week or so, so I won’t spoil the outcome. Im curious what others thought of it. I’m recording it’s later airing to see the beginning.
    • Day 443 - 2025-12-17 Made a few swings in testing some things out at another academy. Might pop up on someone else's podcast in a few weeks.
    • Day 37 (17 Dec 25) - nine hole round with my good friend.  We got paired up with a couple of the men’s group regulars as part of their shootout.  Started off with a wonderful quad bogie and then a dbl on three to be six over thru three holes.  Game went 180° over the next five as I shot one under (including a chip in birdie on hole six and four up and down 1 putt pars) for a net finish of five over. What could have been a really tough nine became a solid finish due to staying in the moment and not checking out.  Great day in course management and keeping perspective .
    • Day 127 12-17 Backswing and flow practice. Took advantage of the 60 degeee weather(it was 20 degrees Sunday)
