I was wondering....do they have things such as a golf tee dispenser? Β Something you can hang on your bag and put your tees in and with a click of a button a tee comes out.

Not sure if they have something exactly like you're saying but many bags do have slots where you can put a few tees in.Β  Is there something wrong with your pockets though where you can't have a couple tee's with at the start of the round?Β  That's a serious question, don't mean to be offensive or anything!

Another brilliant idea for an entrepreneur to invent so that wives and girlfriends can give their men more useless golf junk. Β Sorry if that sounds harsh, but I can't imagine any real golfer having any use for such a thing, which is probably why they don't exist. Β  Many bags have a row of small holes to stick tees in for immediate use, and many trolleys have them too. Β There are things you can hang on your bag that hold a few tees and maybe a couple of balls too. Β I don't use any of them.

I just put one tee in my right pocket along with my ball marker and 2 or 3 in my left and I'm usually good for the round. Β If I should use them up, I have about 500 more in my bag.

LOL.

Awhile back there was one of those silly reality shows on the Golf Channel.......I think it was called Fore Inventors, or some such thing.Β  People would come on trying to convince the judges that they had the next great golf invention.

The one that sticks in my mind is the guy that showed up with a little squeeze bottle with talc in it.Β  When you squeezed the bottle, a little puff of talc would come out, the purpose being to help judge wind direction.Β  One of the judges looked him straight in the eye and said, "I always wished that thereΒ was something on the golf course that I could pick up and toss in the air to judge the wind......".Β  Poor guy was devastated.Β  Took his little bottle and slunk off the stage.

It's a good idea IMO. Partly why I can't understand whyΒ some coursesΒ ban decent looking cargo shorts. I have so much crap to carry that it is always nice when I have extra space to distribute said crap.

How many pockets do you need for a couple of tees, a ball mark, and a divot repair tool? :-)

I'm Tommy 2 gloves before the season gets into full swing.Β This means 3 gloves at least - 2 for left hand and at least one for right hand. yes, 3Β or 4 gloves all worn at same time.Β I can't afford blisters and still expect to type/play guitar frequently otherwise. GPS in a pocket which is rather bulky. Keys in another pocket as they hold not only my keys but my 'always with me' divot tool. Ball marks, tee's, 2 extra balls in case I hook/slice O/B, score card etc. I would enjoy the pain of walking more often, and believe me it is painful for me at this point and time, if it was easier to carry all the crap I carry. Cargo pants are a beautiful thing in the way sun dresses are beautiful on a women with the right figure. Though YMMV.

I hear they make golf bags with pockets these day! ;-)

Well sure. I concede your point but when I look at my bag...

Stuffed, Side, small pocket:

-Β 2 old gloves in case I forget the newer glove(s) in the trunk

-Β A few used balls in case I forget to pull newer balls out of the trunk or have a bad day.

- A ziploc bag with bandaids in case I or anyone in my group is more than mentally wounded.

- A ziploc bag with about 25 tee's in case I or anyone in my group forgets to load up on tee's before the round.

- A ziploc bag with about 10 cheap, plastic ball markers in case I get stuck with the guy who forgot his ball marker and keeps using a tee pushed into the ground behind where his ball came to rest on the green and is now dangerously close to someone elses line.

- A ziploc bag containing a few extra, cheapΒ divot repair tools for the guy who is finally hitting some greens and won't repair the crater 1 foot behind their ball.

- A spike remover and a few extra spikes of different make (ie. different screw in types).

Large side pocket:

- Umbrella - ever try to remove an umbrella where the spokes have gone below the height of the bag inserts but is just tall enough to be wedged in there tighter than a ducks arse? ThisΒ is a good way to waste an hour or so.

- Wet suit - just in case

- Extra shirt - just in case

- Extra socks - Not just in case. Even on a cold winter day a fresh pair of socks after a roundΒ is happiness for your hind paws.

- An extra dozen balls because sometimes I play with guys who shoot '105', never making a par in a round,Β but use 30 balls.

- Thermos of ice water on hot days.

Medium size back pocket.

- Extra newΒ gloves for those really hot days

- Ziploc with baggie full of batteries for GPS
- Extra pencils

- Cigars, cigarettes, lighters and cigar cuttersΒ (sure I should give em up but I won't)
- Gatorade/Powerade bottle stuffed on top of everything else.

I am probably missing a few items.

My bag is full. Yes, a bag is made to hold things. For example my bag is made to hold 14 clubs comfortably. Yet each and (almost) every time I miss a green I pull four clubs from my bag (putter and 3 wedges). I almost always have at least one extra ball in my pants each and every time I step on the tee. I surely could walk back to my bag and get a different club or grab another ball if I need it. After all that is what a bag is for right? I find it better to just pull all 4 clubs each and every time and carry a provisional almost always. YMMV.

TLDR - I would rather have items I use frequently on my person rather than stashed in a bag that may or may not be a short distance away.

I was surprised to see no ball retriever but then I remembered, he has a wetsuit ;-)

Dude no offense...but you carry WAY too much crap around. Couple of tees, divot tool and a ball mark (and depending on the divot tool I use, sometimes those are 2-in-1). Β That being said, my golf bag probably weighs more than most; pretty sure I could survive in the wilderness at least a couple of days with all the crap I keep in there.
