Woody Austin discovered he had 15 clubs in the bag on the third hole and was assessed a four-stroke penalty under Rule 4-4.

Received an email from a media person that Angel withdrew due to left wrist injury

According to ESPN he was still playing but told officials not to keep score.

Man these guys are throwing darts in there. Holy smokes. Garrigus could be on 62 alert later today if he keeps this up.

Garrigus is dangerous in soft conditions; he was T3 at Congressional two years ago.

You hear of a 24-year-old Thai golf phenom, you don't expect the first image you see after a Google search of his name to be of someone dragging a cigarette, gut pouring over his belt.

BTW, did anyone hear about Angel Cabrera? Apparently he was playing so bad he told officials he no longer wants to keep score but still keep playing. Threw out his scorecard lol. Never heard of anyone doing that. I wonder if he gets mulligans?

I nominate Turtleback to address this in an appropriate manner, say confiscate his clubs and, one-by-one, break them over his knee. Maybe slap him with a glove several times. The horror! Actually, it sounds like Cabrera decided to turn himself from a competitor to a marker for the rest of the round. Garrigus is tearing up the course, 5-under today after only 8-holes to take the lead.

In my bag: - Ping G20 driver, 10.5 deg. S flex - Ping G20 3W, 15 deg., S flex - Nickent 4dx 3H, 4H - Nike Slingshot 4-PW - Adams Tom Watson 52 deg. GW - Vokey 58 deg. SW -Ping Half Wack-E putter

well, on the Par 5 with the creek, Cabrera better pull the driver and throw out his back and go for it in 2

other:  looks like Rory is stuck on the edge of good/bad play.  It's like watching an engine that is trying to start but needs a bit more choke.  I hope he comes out the rest of the tournament ok.  maybe he's one that has hot/cold "seasons", instead of tournaments or rounds......
