Iron swing looks much better, still a bit of a flip. Driver swing has a lot of head movement from probably trying to turn more. When I do this, there is a fine line between hitting the ball and topping it. Distance suffers considerably as well.

Yeah, at the moment the flip isn't really a fix I'm concentrating on.  Driver wasn't my best swing, for sure, and it actually felt a bit unnatural so maybe I shouldn't have uploaded it, but I figure if I only upload my "best" swings, it won't be an accurate reflection of my progress (or lack thereof :-\).  Like with everything else, I'm inconsistent with my driver, too.  Haha.

Thanks for the feedback!

Word is Evolvr is back Sunday () so I'll see where my instructor feels I'm at and if I'm ready to move on.

A few swings from today's session.

Worked on the same getting hands and clubhead to be aligned at A2 and shortening the backswing which I'm failing miserably at.  I'm almost at wits end.  The only thing I can think of is potentially getting a broken iron shaft, sticking an alignment stick in it and set it so that it hits the stick if I go too far on the backswing.

Also worked on getting my arms higher and I think it helped with getting my hands and clubhead to be aligned at A2.

These were my last 4 swings of the session.

The swing looks good @RFKFREAK. How's it going on the course?

Anyway, it's good to see that you're posting again.

It will help shorten your backswing if you don't fold your right elbow so much. You don't need to bend past 90° which is a lot less than you think it is. Practice it in the mirror and you'll know what I mean.

Haven't played in over a week so not sure how these changes will go yet.  Hoping to find out this weekend.

Glad I have time to play and post again!  Haha

Will do this mirror work as my 5 minute practice tonight.

@billchao you were right on the right arm.  I did this again tonight and the bend at 90° feels like it's only slightly bent.  Unfortunately, I won't likely hit the range until Friday to get something on video.

So, got my lesson back from my instructor on Evolvr and he tasked me with keeping my hands lower and with little movement from A1 to A2 while still having the clubhead bi-sect my hands at A2.  He said this should help me with the swing not feeling as cramped and I also believe it will help me not bring the club back so far which it did a few times.

I thought this would be relatively easy but yesterday I think I only hit 3 balls cleanly and then in reviewing the video at the range, it wasn't because I executed everything well.  So, work in progress for sure and I think I have to do more mirror work at home.

Couple of swings working on my piece from my instructor from Evolvr where I'm aiming to keep my hands low and turning in as opposed to out from A1 to A2 and having the clubhead bisect my hands at A2 from the DTL view.

I've been working bring the club inside and keeping it low from A1 to A2 and having the club bisect my hands at A2.  Today I really felt like I made progress on my swing.  I'm making much more consistent contact on the sweet spot on the clubface and although my ball flight is higher and I'm using range balls, I feel like I'm not losing distance.  I'm not consistently having the club bisect my hands at A2 yet but I feel like I'm coming close most of the time if I don't.

Didn't make contact on the center of the club face too often today but that's secondary as I'm still working on my piece of getting the club head to bisect my hands at A2 from the DTL view.  That did happen a lot more consistently.

So, I feel like I made some real progress again at the range today.

I am feeling more comfortable with the backswing and more consistent in having the clubhead bisect my hands at A2 from the DTL view while keeping my hands low (although with the 6I it didn't happen in the video below).

So, seeing as how I feel it's getting more ingrained now I thought I would do a secondary check of trying to get my weight forward and for the first time ever, I had forward shaft lean!  It should probably lean more and and I should have my hands more forward but baby steps.  Anyway, fixed my driver, too, as I started slamming the ball straight, albeit with a low ball flight, so no idea on distance.

Debating playing tomorrow with the swing or doing what feels natural or just going to the range.  Playing Sunday, though.

Decided to use my net instead of the range as I implement what my instructor from Evolvr asked me to focus on.  He said that should keep my arm low so as to allow the clubhead to rise steeply after the clubhead bisects my hands at A2 and also try and keep the lowerhalf of my body quieter from A1 to A2.

I think I did a decent job for trying to implement this and also tried to focus more on getting my weight forward which I believe will help me stop coming OTT.  I also had some forward shaft lean at A7.  Backswing is still too long but I think that has to do with my really focusing on the other points so once i get some of those down, I'll concentrate on that more.

I've been pretty erratic with my driver and thought I'd take some video after my round today to see if I can locate something.  If I do what feels natural, I hit a banana slice.  If I try and get my weight forward, I hit the ball really low.

So, I'm at a loss and hoping someone might be able to drop some knowledge.  Sorry about the blurry video and please ignore the name of the video.

This is when I slice:

This is when I hit the ball low:

Quite happy with the progress of the clubhead bisecting my hands pretty consistently at A2 even after playing 4 rounds in 4 days.  Been trying to get rid of the OTT nature of my swing and am trying to have the swingthough of laying the club down at the top and swinging around my body.  Anyway, here's a few swings with the 6I and Driver trying to accomplish the task.  Going to take more work.

Really feel like my swing is improving.  Working on getting my weight forward and having my swing go in to out.

Although, truth be told, it probably couldn't have been much worse when I started, haha.

@RFKFREAK, take this with a grain of salt but if I were you I would set my right wrist almost immediately as the first thing off the ball before your left arm start moving away in the backswing. You will have a much easier time staying on plane and not lifting up your torso to finish out your backswing. And yes, it will feel wierd.
