I use saddle soap.Β  Saddle soap isn't specific for white shoes, but obviously the before and after is the most dramatic on white.

I'm a white shoes man too! Great in the summer! But in winter you just have to clean them more often, I usually clean mine once a week, soft nail brush and water, get all the dirt off, then apply some whitener polish stuff I got for my trainers, keeps them looking bright! I was gonna try some clear dubbin or bees wax but I've never got round to it!

Thanks for the tips. Will give it a try.

InsightfulΒ personal hygiene point. Have a separate toothbrush for your shoes. Do not use the one you have forΒ your teeth.

Also, it you get nicks in the toes of your white shoes, fill in the nicks with liquid white-out. Then, if the shoes haveΒ leather or cloth uppers, you can try some white shoe polish - liquid brush-on looks the best, but paste polish would stretch out the water-proofing.

My father, who was a correctional officer (retired now), said all the convicts used toothpaste to keep their shoes clean. I've used it on white shoes... does the trick nicely.

To be fair, that was probably more out of a lack of alternatives than anything else.

I usually get them clean with regular soap. Perhaps not back to the original white, but it works.

That saying is true by the way, just ask my wife. But anyway if Im wearing my white shoes I try to clean them as soon as I can after my round. I only use soap and water and it seems to work ok enough. I'll look into this toothpaste thing.

I use a Mr. Clean magic eraser.

That's what I came in to say.

It is magic...it'll clean anything.

Saddle Soap, its made to clean leather, works good. Then you can apply some white shoe polish for touch up.
