Beat my personal record is the goal

I shot a 91 today on a hard course and tomorrow my Dad and I are playing our friends in the Easter bowl on a much easier course.

Parred 8 holes today but also tripe bogied 4 holes and I missed 3 birdie putts all by a few inches.

3 of the 4 holes that I tripled came because I can't chip so plan is since the greens are bigger on the course I'm playing tomorrow I will hit more greens and make a few more putts and overall do better.

This thread is to be avoided, fortune teller stuff, big even :). I damn near played it shot for shot 41-39.

Not bad at all.

Here's prediction for my tomorrow's round (canceled my trip to play two rounds this weekend).  91 or less.

First round of the season.

Playing a course I played once a few years back that I don't remember anything about.

30+ MPH winds

CR/SR: 69.2/127, Par 72.

Goal is to shoot 95!

88!   Beat my prediction and expectation, on a windy day at that.  Tomorrow's round will be tougher with rain, shower forecast.  93 or less is what I will shoot tomorrow.

I didn't come anywhere close.

It was laughably bad from the first hole.

94 today, just one over my prediction.  Call me Nostradamus.

It was 2-club-up wind and I kept playing short of green by doing only 1-club-up.

I need to score 95 or better in one of this weekend's rounds to get my GHIN in 17s.   At least one round of 95 or better.   That's what I will shoot.  A modest target.

I won't be plying until Wednesday or possibly Thursday. But it's been an interesting start to a season this year. 78, 88, 79. Sheesh. I'm hoping to score in the 70's.

Tonight I predict 78, tomorrow 81 and Sun 83. I need to get out and start practicing and playing with a purpose of I will get curb stomped in league. Pretty sure I am the high handicap in my flight by about 4 points.

Too sick to golf this weekend it sucks. I tried to give it a go after work yesterday but joint pain made it rough.

My last two range practice sessions have been awful.   I am not expecting a good score in this weekends rounds (applying reverse jinx, reverse psychology).   I expect my two round average will be be around 97 but hoping it to be around 92.

After watching "Yank Haney" vids all winter lol my game is a mess, snappy, pushy lol, I don't expect much, going with a shorter 3/4 swing as it works well when I try it, but hope to improve on my 85 85 2015 home course start, which gives me a net 78

I played 3 rounds and DID average 97 as I predicted.  The scores were 91-110-90.   It was a self fulfilling prophecy.

    • Why do we care about 2nd place?! He LOST!!! You win or lose. Tiger’s accomplishments are of him being the best and winning. All anyone can come up with for Jack are majors and losing but “close.”
    • Not literally. But yes, he did. Much weaker, yes, which greatly inflated his record. No, you still are. I’m not missing it. I just don’t value achieving a worse record over a longer period of time.
    • Nice i took a long time to read the birdie putt then missed it. Wordle 1,057 4/6 ⬜⬜🟨⬜⬜ ⬜🟨⬜🟨🟨 ⬜🟩🟨🟩🟩 🟩🟩🟩🟩🟩
    • Jack didn't face 10 year olds. Tom Watson was runner up at the 2009 British Open. He did however face weaker competition overall.  I am not missing any point. I have read your thread. I never said Jack was better. Tiger was better at his peak.  Jack has a better record even adjusted for field strength. What you are missing is Jack was consistently better for approximately a decade longer.  You are completely ignoring the horrible stretch Tiger had.  The attached images are not because of field strength.  My reasoning is nothing like that and I have given you no reason to think that.
