A month to shoot 70's

Sorry I wasn't able to post a video today. The course was closed for Christmas... I hopped the fence, but didn't have my phone. Will post tomorrow, promise. I'm waking up at 5am to play a round, and practice all day.

I was put in the box for disagreeing with the admins opinion. Anyway, every day I'm getting better. Shot a 74 the other day, not one gimmie. Hit my 3-wood 290 or more, nearly drove the green on the fourth. Shot a +1 through four holes. made a 50 footer for birdie on the 8th hole up hill all the way for the second, and last, birdie of the day.

74 round:

26 putts

FiR: 11/14

GiR: 9/18

3 putts: 0

Every day I get better. Ball flight is better, everything is getting better. My goal is no longer to shoot in the 70's, but shoot low 60's. idgaf what you guys say anymore, you golfers are pissing me off. Soft, cushioned kids at my country club. I'm not hardcore, nor do I think I am. But damn, nobody knows the definition of hard work these days.

For your sake, I hope you are getting better every day.  If you are hitting 50% GiR and expect to shoot in the low 60s anytime soon, you are either delusional or you had be improving at an abnormal rate.

You can tell a lot about how serious somebody is in reaching a goal by how realistic or practical the goals are.  You are clearly on some, "shoot for the moon, hopefully land on my top bunkbed" type stuff.

I'm no rocket scientist, but assuming this is a par 72 course, you'd have to have 3 penalty strokes to go with 26 putts and 9/18 gir's in order to shoot 74.

How do you arrive at that?  I don't think there is enough information (even assuming par 72) to presume that.  He could have a few duffs from the middle of the fairway, and then still 1-putt for a bogey or something.

I'm going to miss this kid, but he seems to be off to a good start.

The way he's going he should be in contention for the top 10 at the CIF championships. Hope the rest of his team is as good, so he can make it there.
