Best laser rangefinder

Do any of you that are using these lasers wear glasses?  I wear glasses and the ones I have looked through don't seem to be all that great with glasses..    Are there adjustments possible??

I always wear sunglasses. If you're asking if there's any problem viewing with the offset from the eyepiece glasses provide, the answer is no. If you're asking if you can focus the eyepiece to account for less than perfect vision, the answer is yes. Either way, wearing glasses posses no problem whatsoever.

I can't do that.  I don't normally wear glasses when I'm playing, but if I do, I have to take them off to use the rangefinder.  I also push up or take off my hat to use it as well.

Huh.... And I know we both use the same rangefinder.....and I always wear a hat along with the glasses too. What is it that causes you to be unable to use it?

I don't know ... my giant hands??  I just have a habit of pushing the brim of my hat up when I go to use it.  Maybe one day I was having trouble with glare or something so I've just quickly developed that habit of making sure the thing is right up against my eye.  I don't really know.

Have you tried bending the rubber eye cup down? That's what it's for and will generally help when wearing glasses. Big hands I can't help. I've got dinkie little girl hands myself!

I have a Nikon Prostaff, which i do not think was made for golfers but rather deer hunters. Very accurate IF  you can keep it steady.  And frankly it takes time to use. Too big to really carry on belt, must detach from bag, focus in on object large enough to reflect the light beam and need to avoid beaming near people as laser beam can damage eyes of distant person if  beamed on him. Most flagsticks too thin to reflect beam, some (few ) have reflectors built in.  On very busy courses, the time factors means one more headache as the marshals don't care why you are late.

I'm considering rigging up my ball fishing pole to support the laser.  Kind of a 'uni-pod' stabilizer.

Not sure if they available in the States ,but the sure Shot Pin Loc 1000 made in Aust. are a top rangefinder, out shine most of the others.

Keep the hunting one for hunting and buy one that is made for golf. Also not legal for golf because they usually account for slope. Also what mag power and specs?   Mine is made by Nikon spies flag sticks without a problem and it does it quickly and easily.  It shoots for a continuous 8 seconds which is more than enough to tag flag, front of green, carry of water or sand and back wall of trees if wooded.  Mine is 6X mag and is accurate out to 500 yards.  I have never had a need to measure that far as I cannot carry the ball that distance .

I agree, I had the GX-4 which I keep in my bag at my home club but wanted one for when I play at away courses.  I thought I'd switch things up and bought the Bushnell Z6 but returned it for the GX-4i ² . I'm sure part of it was my familiarity with the Leupold made it easier to shoot distances but it's also smaller and easier to carry.

I did check and they actually do! I can get the V3 for something like 125 less than retail which is awesome.
