Woods' back acting up again according toGolf Channel's TigerTracker. Don't count on him contending today.

I was going to say, Tiger is done for the day. Now that I hear that, it's in stone.

If his back is hurting again and he continues to struggle and gets a couple more bogies w/ no birdies, it'll be interesting to see if he plays all 18... I haven't seen him stretching or wincing at all.

Well… on the bright side, I don't have to sit here and watch golf all afternoon. I can get some work done.

Nice third round Tiger. 1 out of 4 won't cut it these days though.

And a few times before that, too.

On Tiger's par putt, it looked like someone was on the phone at the back-right of the screen... did anyone else see this?

Does Donald Trump want to be a caddie next month? He's sure dressed like one.

[/quote] Yeah, that sand shot came just a couple of minutes after I posted that. I didn't notice previous times, but I'm doing some work, so I'm not watching every swing. As long as he doesn't risk further injury, I'd think it would be best for Tiger to gut this one out. Can you imagine all the questions he'd get if he w/d's in the final round 2 weeks in a row? For some reason, I expect Reed to falter (maybe it's because he's not as experienced as some of the others on the leaderboard). He's playing very well right now! Dufner, on the other hand... I could see ZJ plugging away and being in it...

I'm in Alabama (& you)....even though I have it, don't know how to use it.

Just have this hang-up, can't watch sports after they already happened.  I'm the only person in the world who has not seen a replay of the IB.

Personal goal is to be so rich I can watch golf and play golf at the same time.  Any techies around?  I do own an I-pad?

With daylight savings, will probably play and just catch the last 10mins.

Duff & Tiger in a playoff.  Someone yells rtr in Duff's backswing.

You should get a Slingbox.  With a Slingbox, you can watch any channel anywhere in the world from your cable or satellite box.  You can also change channels remotely.  The Slingbox comes in HD versions.  What I have setup is the HDMI from my cable box going to the TV, and then component cables going from the cable box to the Slingbox, so I can watch HD on both the TV and my tablet / phone.  Again, it will work anywhere in the world where there's Internet access.  I've controlled my Slingbox from across the continent many times now!  The Slingbox was originally created by a group of guys wanting to watch March Madness while at work at the start of the tourney.

LOL seriously...whoever dressed him this morning needs to be fired.

C'mon they let him walk around with that comb over. Why stop him from dressing like a caddie. He is due to start wearing cheap khakis, a polo and new balance Velcro sneakers anyway...

His mom, his swing coach, the guy who sold me the salsa. They're all very high on Patrick Reed. Convinced all the Monday qualifying hardened him, got him used to the pressure. And did ya hear he's wearing red and black today???

I didn't know they made TW Underoos in adult sizes. I might have to get a pair. Reed just hit an epic push with the driver, looked like me. :-P

Does anyone here have experience with back pain? Is putting worse for the back than full shots?

It can be painful. You're not torquing your back as much, but by bending over that far you're asking your lower back to support a lot of weight. Back pain covers a pretty wide range of symptoms and conditions. When my back acts up, full swings actually help as long as a I don't try to swing out of my shoes but putting can be a killer. It may be the complete opposite for someone else though.

    • I get kidney stones. So 100 oz of water every day. Some nights I drink 32oz between midnight and 6 Am. Which means I dont sleep much.
    • 46 (9 over) Short game and putts were awful!
    • 46+40 for an 86. I just need to play 9 holes on the range before each round. 🤣🤣🤣
    • I don’t measure my intake either. I generally have a black coffee, a bottle of soda, some sweet tea at home, and anything in between is water. An ice cold bottle of water is one of my favorite things. It feels like an immediate refresher for my body. I’ll admit that I need to drink a little more though.
    • For such a nice membership, there have been some bad incidents in the past few years.  We had someone voted out a couple of years ago over something he did and he harassed the board members for three months until he moved out of the area.   Generally they’ve tried to do things like tournament handicaps and identify certain people who they know should be lower and adjust it somehow.  I can understand not wanting to go thru something like the guy who was voted out again i emailed the pro who forwarded it to the handicap committee.  They are going to see what can be done.  I walked someone thru what happened and they are going to nudge him to post the score from the match and see what he does.  Since he didn’t put anything in the electronic scoring past 13, based on how he played 14 and 15 plus having to take bogey on 16-18 for after he left, he should post 83.  We’ll see if it’s even higher,   Since he was really even thru 13, then doubled 14 and parred 15 my guess is he really shot 75 being generous and giving him 2 pars and a bogey on the three holes he didn’t play.    i shot 88, getting 16 shots for my course handicap which is net even and I lost on 13.  We do brackets where handicaps should be within 4-5 of each other.  Most matches only have 1-2 shots as a difference between players  neither of us posted the score yet.  There was something in the match play rules about whether or not to post your score.  I couldn’t remember if we were supposed to or not.  I don’t think he was going to post that, because even with his inflated score it would be the lowest score in his recent 20. Lucky I didn’t because they want to see what he does post and they don’t want me posting so he can try to calibrate his score.
